Three short passes from the back straight to one of their players …again
The manager wants to play like this and despite his odd mistake Egan is the best we've got to do it. We all know that playing this way can lead to match changing errors but don't blame the man who's tasked to play this way and normally does it very well. Egan is superb defender and we'd be much worse without him.

Why? You’re still wrong. A mistake doesn’t make a bad player, otherwise there wouldn’t be a good player in the world.

Personally thought Egan was man of the match yesterday, mistake for the second goal aside. I thought if it wasn’t for his excellent defending at times we’d have been a lot more than 2-0 down.

Other than his slip he played ok, some people just love to find fault
Other than that absolutely huge event, totally needless unforced error which cost us a goal in a play off semi home leg and put us 0-2 down?

Apart from the mass murdering of Jews, was Hitler really all that bad?

Egan is the least of our worries in that back line. He’s been consistently solid for most of the season. We need athletic full backs, the foot race between the likes of Spence and Stevens yesterday was painful to watch.

Apologies did not realise that I was conversing with someone who is perfect all the time. Assume you to be right at the top of the academic and commercial ladder, I should know my place

It’s ok, apology accepted. Don’t make such idiotic comments in future.

So, what you’re saying is he wasn’t MOTM?

If it wasn’t for that mistake he would’ve been my man of the match. That mistake aside his defending was excellent and stopped us conceding more. One single moment doesn’t make him a bad player.

Obviously the mistake did happen so my MOTM would’ve gone to Foderingham instead who was equally responsible for us not conceding more.

Who would your MOTM have gone to?

Definitely Wes. Not even a question. Then probably MGW as at least he tried to make things happen, Bash considering he was babysitting Osborn & Berge second half. Egan hadn’t even entered my brain, to be the centre point and lynch pin of the defence which was literally getting opened up every attack and suggest he was MOTM is the most mental thing I’ve read on this forum for a few days. Mistake or no mistake.

How many times did he just gift possession back to them by trying to pass the football for a start? Not as bad as Oli, but not far off.

Strange take from that that you think I was comparing making a mistake in a football game to the holocaust 🤣

Brains in short supply in Sunderland I see
?
Given my brain deficiency I’d welcome your assistance in my comprehension of what your post actually does mean

“Other than that absolutely huge event, totally needless unforced error which cost us a goal in a play off semi home leg and put us 0-2 down?

Apart from the mass murdering of Jews, was Hitler really all that bad?”

& that’s afore I (endeavour to) understand the reference to Liverpool

I mean, if you can’t comprehend the way it was intended that’s on you and your lack of intelligence. Not everything’s meant to be offensive. I could’ve used many references, Mick Philpott, Harold Shipman, Raoul Moat. But I just chose that one.

It was a joke with the play of ‘apart from the mistake, (which cost us a goal) he was MOTM’ - if you can’t understand that and find humour in it then that’s not my fault that your humour isn’t on the same wavelength as mine.

Liverpool reference was due to the fact they take offence to absolutely everything, hence their label of the victims. Heard of it? Assume not since Sunderland is a backwater.

And 3 cunts, nice. 3 reports 👍🏼
Make sure you use the time off to shout at things on the internet

We were t getting opened up down the middle though, that was happening on the wings.

I give you that. But you’ve got to deal with it when it comes in. Who was marking the men in the middle? It’s not like it only happened once, it happened time after time.

None of your alternatives are “ humorous” either & equally offensive
Savage irony that you can (appropriately) share condolences / regret surrounding the passing of someone on this forum but not recognise the offence you cause elsewhere - why no ‘joke’ about that death?
Don’t need anyone to explain what a shithole Sunderland is, but, Lewisham, ….. really ?

As for cunt x3 - why the ‘reporting’ - it was “only a joke”
