Nope, wouldn’t bother me and I’d still refer to it as Bramall Lane.Genuine question. Does anyone care if Bramall Lane was to change names? It will always be Bramall Lane to me, but I cant say I look at the name on paper every day and feel proud its not been changed. I dont think i'd feel any anger if it did change, it would only be temporary like any ownership is.
Like St. James Park was always that to me regardless of what it was changed to by Mike Ashley.

Or maybe he just read my tweet directed to him?
''One source I trust suggests strong interest from America'' <<< i didn't realise you trusted me so much Alan!![]()
About time we had a floral, pastel kitHope it's Laura Ashley.

“Piggy cunt stadium”If it gains us a rich owner willing to invest in the club and bring us some success we've never seen, they can change the name to Piggy Cunt Stadium for me.
At nearly 50 my hope and dream is to see us just for once reach our potential.
I'm not one of those who would rather see us bum around the lower leagues claiming that we've at least maintained our heritage and dignity by not having a stadium sponsor.

What disaster did Ashley inflict on NewcastleI'm not keen on American ownership based on previous models in the UK in football, Simon Jordan was very critical of the Burnley takeover, which I believed involved the club's own money been used to buy the club, not sure how that happened!
As for Mike Ashley, please no! If the Prince sells to him I despair! I'd actually rather stick with the Prince than have a takeover unless it's someone with huge money and is if we're going to attract that, I just don't see that unless we get in the PL. I would imagine that nothing will happen in the short term but rather after the season is finished.
Not new for us Wilder did itnewcastle fans complaining about wasting millions on players.
Bring back doordeals I say, new MOTM sponsor doesn’t roll off the tongue as good.Tbf everything else in the ground is sponsored. The bibs, the balls, the added time, the motm.
Just as long as its not bastard Door Deals, I’m not arsed.
Said similar to a few at work. Mainly "rename it bumhole lane" and "I'd take a facial everytime I went to the lane from Mandingo" just to have the security and probably success that comes alongside someone who's got more than 50 pence in their bank.If it gains us a rich owner willing to invest in the club and bring us some success we've never seen, they can change the name to Piggy Cunt Stadium for me.

I'm not even going to go into detail there Bert; I'd do your own research but in summary he owned one of the biggest clubs in the country and was twice relegated into the Championship then appointed Steve Bruce and was struggling to stay up!What disaster did Ashley inflict on Newcastle
