got to agree with you half that team that started tonight should have been on the bench know brewster and mcburnie have done nothing but how the hell can you pick a 34 and 35 year old strike partnership and thats slavs fault add to that norwood and fleck being dropped for saturday is a must as well disgraceful performance tonight the players should have a whip round and reimburse those 2k fantastic fans the cost of their trip tonight

Plus another progressive midfielder to replace either flack or Norwood if the one you mention to go alongside berge is a ball winner like vieria was meant to be

Heard Hecky say training has shocked Jebbison with how intense it is.
With MGW back one less place for an attacker on bench, Mcburnie chosen over him as you’d expect.

Was shocked to see people on Twitter slating Hecky for leaving him out calling it poor management.

I think calling him back and not giving him a minute in 2 games on the face of it looks poor.

But it’s a long old season left, and the training here will be better than Burton’s no offence to them. It’ll take a couple of weeks to get up to scratch.

I don't think it looks poor at all. Jebbison was doing pretty well in League 1, but this is a huge step-up particularly in terms of physicality.

He was brought back to cover us in case of a bad run of injuries, which we are now starting to see. For me, if Jebbison suddenly is starting games this season then something will most likely have gone wrong.

I wouldn't say to me personally, but I can see why some would see it that way. And already have in some instances, particularly around me yesterday.

And you say gone wrong if he starts games this season, I say something might've gone right too. He's got all the raw ability to make it at the very very top level, it's just down to how quickly he can learn to go with it.

He’s potential that’s a fact

He will get his opportunity - looked very very raw when I’ve seen him but there’s deffo a talent there

In an ideal world I suppose we would have let him continue his development under a master craftsman of C forwarding in JFH but we needed to offload whatever and whoever we could . Add the injuries to that and we were left with little choice but to recall him .

As many have said , hope we don’t overburden him with unrealistic expectations . His time will come .

I want Billy to play ninety minutes every week and for McBurnie to be a shithousing supersub but I hope Jebbo can at least get some cameos.

There are 18 games left to play until the end of the season - more if we get to the playoffs. At the moment we are in a run of 3 games in 6 days. There will be some tired legs out there, particularly on a 36 year old, but even the younger players will I guess start to feel leggy and need rotating if not now at some point. We have lost Didsy to injury. There will be others before the end of the season. Jebbo will get his chance in due course I am sure.
