Jebbison has the physique to be an elite level striker already.
I dont think he has yet
He was struggling holding the ball up against Carlisle

Article in the Star yesterday suggesting that Lopata could force his way into the first team reckoning at the Lane. With Egan hardly pulling up trees there may be an opening at centre half alongside Davies.Hoping the centreback is Lopata, lovely little article in polish media with him today saying he no longer wants U23 football and wants first team action with Sheffield United or on loan and would know by the end of the month.

As good as he’s been and as well loved as he is by everyone including myself I think Nash could find himself in the same box as didzy a lovely player who doesn’t fit under the new gafferArticle in the Star yesterday suggesting that Lopata could force his way into the first team reckoning at the Lane. Nash? Do you mean Egan? Apologies if I've missed something. As good as he’s been and as well loved as he is by everyone including myself I think Nash could find himself in the same box as didzy a lovely player who doesn’t fit under the new gaffer
That, IMHO, wouldn't work as a back three. Egan has zero pace and the turning circle of a polar bear. Jokanovic seems to be trying to move towards a 4-3-3 formation which would leave Lopata, Basham, Egan and Ky Gordon fighting for the right sided berth next to Davies (or Robinson if we're desperate).A few of us have been saying since pre season that this lad would probably improve us at the back, without doubt in the air.
Personally I wouldn't be averse to a back 3 of Egan...Lopata....Davies
Sorry bashNash? Do you mean Egan? Apologies if I've missed something.

Still 5 mins to edit and no-one will be any the wiserSorry bash![]()

Egan was phenomenal in the Wilderball system when it worked. He stayed put in the middle of the defence and his remit was to head the ball away, occasionally mop up behind the other centre halves and, if he got it, to give the ball to a midfielder as quickly as possible. He'd be perfect for Burnley...that would be £12m please, Mr Dyche.

Worth every penny
Athletic have just confirmed what I was telling you all about. As soon as he rejected the move to beerschot, they blocked all his other possible moves by placing a stupidly high loan fee on himEssentially giving no other club the chance to sign jebbo on loan due to a high fee as soon as he rejects a move to beerschot
Aye, small minded, short sighted, petty cunts.if it's true about the loan fee then the people running this club (not the manager) are absolute fucking cretins.
Yeah. I've been willing to give the United World model the benefit of the doubt but it's not sustainable if it involves strong-arming our promising youngsters into overseas loans they don't want. Surely the board should be thinking of Jebbison's potential improvement under JFH and imagining how much it might increase his value?Seems a bit harsh that we're essentially making it very hard for him to get game time unless he conforms and moves to Beerschot.
RND also didn't want the move there.
You can't blame young kids for not wanting to move abroad. It's a big step when you don't even know the language. I changed my uni course as it would have involved 6 months in Belgium ffs! It's unfair to try and force them there.Seems a bit harsh that we're essentially making it very hard for him to get game time unless he conforms and moves to Beerschot.
