We’ll done to the board, got there in the end didn’t we. Personally think it’s a really good signing. Allows us to play a back 4 with an out and out CB pairing.
Possibly, although as he’s said numerous times it’ll possibly be a more horses for courses approach. I’m all for that, don’t want us to be stuck to a 3, a 5 or a 4 when it isn’t working.I think he will opt for a back 3 with those 3 being more defence minded than a CW team and freeing up the wingbacks.. think this is what he did at Fulham for example
yeah think your right there this manager wont just stick with one system hes more flexible than wilder actually think robinson could be quite interesting at lb/ lwb puts a good cross in and has that long throw which could be very handy at this level as brum showed us last saturdayPossibly, although as he’s said numerous times it’ll possibly be a more horses for courses approach. Which is refreshing to hear but he will surely have a preferred formation and will recruit with that in mind. I don’t think a players preferred foot really matters in a pairing but it’s is beneficial to have some balance even more so in a back 3.Possibly, although as he’s said numerous times it’ll possibly be a more horses for courses approach. That's two then, both look like they'll add to what we've got
What else and who else do we need?
If Berge and Rammers stay then possibly good to go, although I'm still not convinced, despite the numbers, that we have the right strikers.
Moose forever on the treatment table
Burke, sorry but nuff said for me
Jebbo out on loan
That leaves Billy, McBurnie and Brewster
I agree I think we need two wide forwards.
Hope he turns out to be decent.
He's turned us down more than a hotel
Man UtdWhich Diallo does thou speak of
This excites me.
Now try for Diallo. Thanks.
we’ve got more than enough strikers, and more than enough strikers who are good enough to score at this level. That's two then, both look like they'll add to what we've got

Liverpool clearly hoping he has a great season and will look to open an auction for him if he does. That's the only reason I can see them rejecting the loan to buy agreement. He's never going to play for Liverpool.

imagine we’d seen Fulham come down and bring in Brewster, mcburnie, mcgoldrick and sharp with mousset and Burke as options also… you’d rightly think given their record(s) at this level that it’s a huge amount of firepower.
what we can’t do is completely neglect any form of creativity to provide for them. We need some attacking flair and creativity desperately!! We need someone to provide for the strikers…. We could have still been playing against Birmigham and not have scored despite all the possession.
this, almost more than a defender is what’s missing! It’s what we brought Slav in to do, we must give him the tools for the job
Do you think he could cut it if we got promoted? I said this to someone the other day, until players are given a chance to play in the prem you can never know. Who would have thought bash etc would excel in the prem especially in our first year. All of Brentford's players have never played there, barring a couple of odd sub appearances.the option to buy would be perfect. I don’t know if there is one or not. Loans to gain promotion are perfect but getting lumbered with good championship players when you’re in the PL less so.

Diallo would be obscene in the championshipThis excites me.

On the flip side he’s up against Salah, Mane et al every day in trainingWonder if he will be rusty or not. A year of no competitive football isn't ideal but still an upgrade on what we've got
