Well this is great news and I was beginning to despair with the whole process and the thought of either Hecky, decent coach but not the time for him to be manager, or some League One guy with mixed record!

It feels, no it doesn't feel it is the reality that our season is deteriorating into a farce, even more so than earlier in the season, we need leadership now! And as the Star I think said, if we are to have an advantage to going down early and knowing which league we're in next in terms of recruitment, and have extra time to prepare for next season, then this advantage is only if we appoint someone decent and in the next week or so, or at the very least end of May, and we're not far off that. West Brom for example, may well find themselves looking for a new manager after the season is ended and that few weeks could be crucial with recruitment. And ultimately, there's only three weeks left now, if we get a manager in for the last two games of the season it gives that guy to see for himself what needs doing and to work with the players, it can only be a good thing.

Fans are rightly critical of the players, but it isn't easy playing in current circumstances under a temporry manager, even if the club say he may be the manager next season, he can't carry the authority that brining in Jokanovic would. The players and the club need that lift and direction, here's what we're doing etc.

His season in Qatar is finished. Fed some scraps to the rags to get the fans back on side after that dreck they served up.
