I’ve been OBSERVING your forum so that I could get an IDEA of the CALIBRE of away supporter that we will be welcoming to The Huish Soccerball Arena next season. Please don’t get the wrong IMPRESSION, I’m not some kind of VOYEUR or anything.

I have to ADMIT that I am really EXCITED about Mickey Adams LEADING you into Division 3 (THREE), as I’ve been a MASSIVE fan of his. You might not remember but he wasn’t a bad manager once. He was great at Fulham and Brighton (the first time).

I found this thread PARTICULARLY interesting (as was ‘shed update’). I was SURPRISED that so many of you were not overly CONCERNED with your RELEGATION this season. It is quite REFRESHING that you have ACCEPTED your PUNISHMENT with such good grace. I imagine that getting to play your friends from the blue and white half of your GLORIOUS city is probably like a DREAM come true for you. Sadly it doesn’t look like your NEIGHBOURS Rotherham will make the play offs this season. Fingers crossed that they JOIN us all in the THIRD Division next season.

Anyway, Russell’s Salad looks forward to seeing you ALL in the beer tent next season.

the beer tent you mention,do you mean your ground, at least when we do play our neighbours from OUR GLORIOUS CITY we will have the backing of a BIG crowd something your little club can only dream off, and yes it is disappointing that our BIG CITY has 2 BIG clubs wallowing in the lower divisions, but at least we have been to the top, unlike your little club, that can only dream of being there and maybe getting the odd cup tie against one of the big boys !

Good Afternoon Russells Salad!

Let me be the first to say - We're going to have a lot of fun with you!

Perhaps during your observations (and from the detailed knowledge you have of the threads on here i'd say sad existence that you have) you must've seen how we treat our own people, so stick around. Don't expect an always friendly and welcoming response, but still stay a little, drink a beer, but accept that with an opening such as this one you've opened yourself up already.

I'm sure the mods have already marked your card, because you don't sound the sharpest tool in the box!

Yes, yes, YES!
All of this is true. It is like you are a MIND reader.

I for one can't wait for an FA Cup GLAMOUR tie against one of the Premier League GIANTS like Wigan, West Brom or even (next season) QPR.

Why do you keep writing certain words in capitals? Is this your way of trying to emphasise? or is your keyboard broke?

anyway, yeovil (yawn, yawn, yawn)

I think it's like the Da Vinci Code. If you take all the capitalised letters and rearrange them, it tells you what Jesus had for the last supper (fish fingers).

Anyway, as stated in the rules, we do welcome fans of other clubs to join in with our forum respectfully. But trouble-makers do tend to get their comeuppance...

Bye Bye yawnvil!!!

Certainly not a kid, the spelling is too good. Maybe a quick check of their IP will reveal a Rovrum address?

I think you have got me all WRONG. I didn't come here looking for TROUBLE, I just came to do the Bramall Lane SHUFFLE.
I just really wanted to WELCOME you to our home and to League 1. I do REALISE that playing Yeovil Town will not be the most SEDUCTIVE fixture for you guys next season. Especially when you are used to playing against teams with the STATURE of Hull, Doncaster and Scunthorpe. We do get some pretty BIG clubs down here in the LOWER divisions (Oldham, Plymouth and Swindon to name but three), and we will certainly show you the RESPECT that you DESERVE.
I see that your ADMINISTRATOR, Foxy has already sent me a nice message WELCOMING me to your FINE forum. I think It would be GREAT if we could build some BRIDGES between our HISTORIC soccer clubs.

How you use the words Soccer and Historic in the name sentence is beyond me. It's FOOTBALL!

Taking crack while being pregnant is obviously popular in the South West.

leave the guy alone...............

although it's a fair assumption that he got a different bus to school than most and the windows on this bus would have been rather damp

Used to work in Somerset - beer was the worst I ever tasted, but the cider was spot on. Used to have some great sessions in the King Alfred at Burrowbridge. But 404 miles journey from Bridgwater to BDTBL was a bloody long way - especially on a feb tuesday evening - but worth it to watch us beat the Scabs in the Play-offs.

Gentlemen.

As we are yet to declare shenanigans, I would remind you what it says in our rules about welcoming fans of other clubs and also personal abuse.

These rules stand until "open season" is declared by either Foxy or myself. And we are biding our time.

Keep it in the back pocket please Linz, I really want to see what this one has got to offer. Like I said, we could have some fun with this one, just need 'it' to open up a little more...

Don't you just love the way Linz gets angry in bold:D

I'm thinking we may need an outlet for our frustrations this weekend. I sensing we have a candidate.

There's also a couple of Barnsley fans I'm lining up in the mod queue for you all to have your fun with. I'm waiting to unleash them at the appropriate time.

When the bold comes out, the shit goes down :D

Morning, my NORTHERN friends.
Today I am very EXCITED for you. Not only are you joining Yeovil Town in the THIRD tier of English soccerball, but it APPEARS that your youth team are doing FANTASTICALLY well. They have reached the ACTUAL FA youth cup final.
We are not strangers to SUCCESS here at YTFC either. In fact on TUESDAY night Yeovil Town LADIES were victorious in the Somerset Women's SENIOR Cup. They TRIUMPHED is the SHOWPIECE final against the MIGHTY Larkhall Athletic, 3 (THREE) goals to 0 (NIL). The match was played at Shepton Mallet's 'Playing Fields' gound in front of a CAPACITY crowd of almost 7 (SEVEN) people.

Let the GOOD times roll my friends, let the good times roll.
