This COULD have been FUNNY, but alas has FALLEN on it's ARSE. Still, could be WORSE. Not much though.

Gentlemen.

As we are yet to declare shenanigans, I would remind you what it says in our rules about welcoming fans of other clubs and also personal abuse.

These rules stand until "open season" is declared by either Foxy or myself. And we are biding our time.

Awww but it seems so difficult to hold back? Type “the huish soccerball arena” into Google and you will all see what I mean.

It appears the mentally inept Yeovil fan we have before us posts on many different clubs forums, trying to be that minor annoyance by posting similar comments to annoy fans further when there club is in the shit. It must look pretty bleak when the only way to get attention is to post on clubs forums that are bigger than Yeovil (not that it takes much) and having their share of troubles. Nice twitter page by the way, I’m liking the publicity stunt you are trying to pull here...

However I hope you continue to try to test the patience of ourselves and our admins with the petty sarcy comments and the annoying American language (Soccer) so that we can start to rip you apart :)

Welcome

leave the guy alone...............

although it's a fair assumption that he got a different bus to school than most and the windows on this bus would have been rather damp

unfair comment-card for you

Random Yeovil fact.

My Dad is a former Yeovil Town goalkeeper, he played a couple of games for them in the early 70's when he was based at Yeovilton airbase. My Mum and Dad also got married in Yeovil, as they was both in the Royal Navy based at Yeovilton air base, and lived in Yeovil for a few years before moving back to Sheffield just before she fell pregnant with me . Yeovil is also the home to the fleet air arm museum where i got dragged round a few times when i was a kid.

Snap - we always went on holiday to Devon at Whitsun and were also dragged around that museum, in fact I have a Fleet Air Arm Museum badge somewhere...

Sorry about the DELAY in getting back to you all. It's not that I'm IGNORING you, I've been a little busy.

As has been pointed out the collected works of Russell's Salad are indeed available on the INTERNET via Google. I do however take EXCEPTION to the INSINUATION that my CORRESPONDENCE with fellow soccer FANATICS is limited to clubs that are 'in the shit'.

This is not the case and I'd IMAGINE that my very good FRIENDS on the Rochdale forum would BEG to differ. Correct me if I am WRONG but I think they are having their BEST season EVER. Likewise Leyton Orient (where the BALD leader now resides) are doing pretty well too.

With your FANTASTIC youth team doing so well I'd say that the FUTURE of your club is a LONG way from being 'shit'. With Mickey at the HELM you are in safe hands. As I have pointed out he was a TRIUMPH at Fulham and Brighton (the first time).

The forums that Russell's Salad has posted on are chosen CAREFULLY. Only the most RELEVANT, interesting and STIMULATING forums make it through the RIGOROUS selection process. I am of course very interested in Sheffield United football club as we will be meeting in the not too distant future.

We are all here because of the PASSION we share for association football (or 'Soccer' as it was abbreviated to in the 1880's). It is that PASSION that drew my to your forum, and I'd love to share my PASSION with you all.

Thanks for you time. Good luck today against my Bristolian friends this afternoon.

P.S. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is indeed WELL worth a vist when you are down here next season. They even have an ACTUAL Concorde, which is nice.

Just got back from sunny Somerset, drove home past Yeovil.

Stayed in a nice pub, beer good "otter ale" - £3 a pint, fish & chips also good but at £14 quite expensive. Still the menu said "hand cut chips" - makes all the difference, they were perfectly oblong and all the same size.

Looking forward to the Yeovil game next year.

Hartley.
