If he gets the same resource as Chris got then yes, it's a disaster, because there's not a man on this planet that could replicate Chris' success in the same circumstances.

It got into your soul. It's what got me drawn back in, it's what had people outside the stadium just soaking up the atmosphere because they couldn't get a ticket - against Chesterfield. It's what got us a smart looking shop in meadowhall that I was proud to take the kids in and buy them blades shirts,proud to tell them I've got Chris's shirt when he played with us. History coming alive and setting football alight again.
Sorry to hijack your post, but this is so much more than losing a manager. I cant realistically imagine being lit up like we have done in my lifetime again. I just cant. And I'm 42.
Probably take a break from visiting the website again for a while. Everything red and white seems emptier and with more regret than it ever should have, all seems so preventable.
