I read somewhere that he’d just signed a four-year contract in February 2021 so if he is the man he won’t be a low cost signing. Here’s the link.

In fairness, his win percentage at Oxford and Lincoln is 44-45%. That's impressive.
They may have lost today but he's built a new team from scratch and are on course for play offs and possibly automatic promotion

Failed miserably at Portsmouth, Blackburn and Blackpool though.

All those teams have been thriving since, yeah? I think he had something like 15 games at two of those.

Joined Oxford in 2014.

Need a big personality

Always likes Holloway and thought our paths would cross but reckon he’s as shot now as Hughes, Pardew, Pulis etc

Look at Man U post Ferguson and Arsenal/Wenger

Don’t follow ‘the man’
Follow the man who follows ‘the man’

For me it’s Howe as he took Bournemouth up and had a few seasons up, or Lampard - did well at Derby, 4th first season at Chelsea and blooded youngsters - which we have spent millions on several

Howe for a big personality?! He’s drier than the Gobi

Think our board will look abroad this time, it will be a manager who fits the the new system more like the continental style, Head coach, head of football, recruitment will be split and not down to a single manager. I have no doubt believing the board are changing the set up to improve the club, if it actually will is another cup of tea. Lack of funds will always be the bottom line , whoever takes over

Given where the info has come from I'd have serious doubts.
If it did happen it would basically mean that, as a club, we completely fucked and have less that zero in terms of ambition.
In fact, if it did happen it would mean that our owner has entered a direct competition with the pigs owner as to you can 'fuck a football club up the most in the quickest possible time'!
Let's hope the info is as sensible and balanced as the OP's usual posts.

No way will we be shopping in Appleton's pond.

I think our next manager will probably be someone from abroad who will fit the DOF/head coach model.

Let's not forget our owner is a businessman first and a fan second by a long way. I would imagine a foreign manager with some knowledge of the European game and it's players would be high on his list judging by his purchases of a couple of continental club.
Also we don't have to look far to see what happens if we become a burden. :tumbleweed:

Well, since people seem to think the betting is the shortlist, it must be reyt. He’s our next gaffer.

Will be gone before I put the Christmas tree up. Saying that, look how long they gave Weir...
