Anyone remember Serge Gnabri at Arsenal and WBA he struggled at PL level....however a few years later at Bayern he now looks world class.

Dis agree...in many matches last seasonHenderson hardly touched the ball.
His strengths was he’d do very little then pull out a top class save....
He was more like a 10 goal a season striker...and gained us a few points.

I think the defensive unit of Stevens- OConnell- Egan- Basham- Baldock was the key to our success.
We’re missing 1 part of that unit and don‘t look the same defensively.....also doesn’t help that Stevens has moved into the middle.
Hes a decent make shift but will never be commanding in the air or offer the physical presence of O’Connell.

Agree...part of his game doesn’t convince however he’s
One of the hottest young goalkeeping talents in Britain.
When the times comes to sell him...his transfer value will only increase. That’s the theory anyway.
 
Has anyone noticed the lack of short balls either thrown out or passed out, this is a big part of the modern goalkeeper. Norwood passed one back and it went long when it should have gone wide, this could either be a lack of confidence on the keepers part or the defence/midfield not giving the keeper enough options.

When did i say he didnt warrant criticism? I wont say hes a poor buy, and that ill drive him back to Bournemouth and is "fucking wank" based on a bad game. Hes having a really poor game, just say hes having a poor game. The rest is just pathetic overreaction.

Atleast there's one thing we don't have to worry about, cos Rammers couldn't even catch fucking Covid!!

I think Henderson would have struggled this season with O'Connell missing.
 
If Ramsdale is worth 18 million, I’ve gotta be worth 100 grand sat here on me arse watching it.

Disagree, he made those 5 a better unit, even in the championship, by giving them so much confidence that they were not the last line of the defence.

So many key saves in crucial games last year especially against relegation rivals Norwich Bournemouth home & away Watford away West Ham.

Our results in the games we won were so tight, you could argue he gave us at 10-15 points at least. Helped turn losses into draws and draws into wins.
 
He was shit last season and we paid 20 odd million for him, hes just continuing at the limits of his ability. He cant catch a ball, dive, command his area or move his feet and hands at the same time. Hes not very good.
This is Bladey blade signing at it's best, not one other prem club would have bought him as their number 1. He might be bang average in a few years if he works hard but it will be too late for us to avoid relegation.

Yes i agree, his command in the midfield, running off the ball and his attacking is terrible. Pity England staff, blades staff seem to rate him, cus on here the real people who know about him and his ability know he is shite!!
 



He has to move his feet more, that’s the thing that is standing out the most for me at the moment. With the first goal I’m absolutely convinced he’d have got to it with a stronger trigger movement. The second he needs to bulldoze the lot out the way but Lowe also needs to do much better in shielding Chilwell out the way. The third, not really his fault but I question his decision making a bit there trying to punch the ball while going through McBurnie. Last goal, no chance.
