I think Henderson does better on all 4 goals.
I've seen lots of goals which Ramsdale has got his hand to, but he doesn't seem to move his feet when he dives. If he did, he'd stop them. The first goal for Chelsea was no different.
The 2nd goal, he switches off. Gives away a needless corner. Then watches the ball sail across his 6 yard box at head height and then he lamely dives to the ground, making it an easy finish for Chilwell. Pathetic goalkeeping.
Their 3rd. Again, no command of his area. Comes out, gets caught in no man's land, Silva heads in.
The 4th. Trickier, but he goes to ground so early and makes himself as small as possible. It lacks bravery.
I'm not saying all 4 goals were his fault directly, but I do feel at the minute - if there's a chance it will go in, it will go in. He's not stopping anything that I wouldn't expect to be bread & butter & he's letting goals in that I don't think a PL keeper should be. The most concerning part is I don't know if he has the natural athleticism to fix some of these problems.
I understood going for him over Cakir given the circumstances with the pandemic & the ease in which he'd settle into the squad, but... in hindsight, the stats told us how good of a keeper Ramsdale was. And they didn't paint a strong enough picture to support £18m.
Of course, I'm talking with hindsight, but I'm not paid to get these decisions right.
