So are you saying he come running out and get nowhere near the ball today and against Liverpool? Did I imagine that?
If Henderson had done that today it wouldn’t even be mentioned. You’d just be saying how good the performance was. And rightly so.

We’ve got a quality PL keeper, not a faultless world class keeper a la Jan Oblak.

Again, he's doing very well but is being measured against our outfield players that have remained the same as when Henderson was here, but have dropped their levels by about 30%

Stick him behind last season's version of us and he'd have a couple of clean sheets by now.

No issues with him whatsoever.

No I wouldn't. I'd still be picking out the errors. All keepers make good saves, the best ones are the most consistent and make the least errors. If you'd like to check my forum history you'll clearly see I regularly criticised Henderson for errors too.

Well that’s idiotic. You’re not going to get the complete goalkeeping performance from a 21 year old.

Pointing out errors and learning from them is how you improve, but I guess hoping for improvement is idiotic. Strange.

You’re going to get mistakes (be them big or minute) from every player in the world. Why highlight them if they’ve had no impact on the game whatsoever?

Played well today. He’s a solid PL keeper. We could do with the same around him in other positions.

Brilliant today, would prefer him to actually catch some of the shots, but getting better every game.

Because next time they might impact the game? I'm also not sure how failing to move his feet and let in the only goal of the game didn't impact the game, but okay 👍

You’re nitpicking. It’s boring.

Yeah because we're doing so well that there's no need to look for improvements? Nobody said you had to reply to my comments, I'd rather you hadn't to be honest.

I don't think you can blame him for the goal. He was at full stretch and down early. Hit hard and low into the corner on a skiddy surface.

I do think it's worrying that in two games running he's rushed out to almost the same spot on the right edge of his box and got nowhere near the ball. Both times the striker failed to capitalise but he needs to cut that out. Either too slow off the mark or a little rush of blood to the head. Made some decent saves today though (including the header). I wasn't convinced by some of his handling or distribution first half but horrendous conditions and settled down second half.

He'll be a good keeper for us. There's a lot of hard work needed but he's only a young lad.

No mate, it hasn't cost a goal in either game so he should carry on doing it at least once a game. Apparently.

Looks good improving every game and might be a cautionary tale for others looking to write players off after 2-3 games.

Commentators thought he put a good shift in today.

They also summed up our issue with the game with the comment "Edison's hands hardly touched the ball for 90 mins apart from goal kicks"

I like the speed of his decision making in terms of crosses and shots coming at him judges the flight of the ball well and pushes/punches the ball either directly to a blades player or out and away from danger

Didn't think he made a difficult save to day but what was that saying? 'A good keeper makes it look easy.'
