Hes under big big pressure for me if we take our rose tinted glasses off weve been shit since end of last season and it doesn't look like he can change it round the board wont keep accepting it we know there's no loyalty in football. Im not suggesting anything because id keep him for good but its football and its money & results driven game.
Wilder is in big trouble clappers may say oh cause yap yap the Prince will be looking intently and wilder knows results matter

Osborn and Ampadu shite in midfield today. Getting completely bossed. Baldock can’t cross for shit and we just look so open at the back. Losing one on one’s constantly all over the pitch. Resorting to hoof ball far too frequently and therefore no creativity. Look a million miles away from the start of last season.

Can’t score if you don’t shoot. Very confused are we trying to counter attack with no relative pace or playing direct to a target man in order to gain/control possession up the pitch to players who are panicking on the ball. Not doing either very well. But it is Man CityI suppose....more money than us....a Ferrari to our focus....lads gave us everything...poor on the ball.

We look low on confidence again. Ampadu had one notable screw up but we need to work him the ball out of defence more. He’s always an option. And if he’s not on, someone else will be spare. Too much long ball. Brighter at the end of the second half. Hopefully that continues. UTB

Some right defeatists on here. We're playing Man City not fucking Mansfield. Some games we know we are probably going to lose and this is one of them. What do these numpties want? Go gungho against a super fast breaking side like City? Get real people .
Just want us to show some balls that’s the least we expect really.

No. What we want is to see premier league players at least trying to keep hold of the ball. No matter who you play if you go into it thinking you will get hammered then you will.

Early days I know but wondering if it was a Klopp master stroke to big up Brewster to get absolute maximum price.
I’ll reserve judgement on him until he eventually receives a decent ball though.

Not enjoying this game so far.
Heads looked to have dropped even at nil-nil.
We look awfully disjointed and outclassed.

I agree expectations on the result should be tempered, but we cant keep clean sheets at the minute. Its currently a riskier strategy than trying to be more expressive IMO, especially against these teams. Look at against liverpool last week, surely thats the way.

Can’t judge him really with the service he’s getting

It’s not that I expect us to go gunghoe but when we have had the ball it’s been slow and sterile. Banging it up to Mcburnie isn’t working. Ampadu and Osbourn off and Norwood and Lundstram on for me second half

We shouldn’t be measuring ourselves against teams like City but we should be giving it a go. I know we don‘t want to get battered but I would much rather we have a go back instead of inviting them onto us. As for Brewster, I wonder what’s going through his mind seeing us playing like this. He can finish but in all honestly is never going to get a decent chance is he. Come on Blades, show some fight.

Even after the restart we were shite but still managed to pull a performance out like the Chelsea/Spurs wins.

I know Brewster needs games but he’s not doing the simple things like putting himself about, making runs to move the City defence about or getting some space for a threw ball from midfield, I know I’m clutching at straws but these are basic things for a forward. 23mil 🤨 Osborn looks out of his depth (today) CW is playing the new young kids and it ain’t gonna work?

Defeatist is just sitting back and waiting for the inevitable MC goal.

At least have a fucking go for christs sake!!

Regarding Brewster and OliMac, both have come from playing keep the ball football at Swansea to what has increasingly become quite direct, play for scraps off the target man methods. I don’t believe for a second either player has suddenly been found out, just not sure our style is currently suited to them (Oli eluded to it in an interview) shades of Leon Britton.

Berge ffs..he should be getting his head on the end of them not blasting free kicks straight out of play!

If we do bring in a creative midfielder, they need to have a decent set piece on them.

I think he’s been fairly poor (by his standards), he has given the ball away a lot. For me Sterling is the causing all of the issues.
To be fair when does Sterling never cause any issues!

If we can hold out for the first 15 minutes I reckon we can get something here.

*Puts tin hat on
