Sheffield United vs Manchester City

His call to waste a shirt on Lundstram was/is poor.
CW is his own man, but, does he really need Shearer & Lineker (and plenty more!!) telling him why we don't/won't score!??.
How many times have we watched, from the stands or on TV, whilst our wing-backs & midfielders pass the ball to each other 20, 30 or 40 times around our opponents box!, as our attackers make numerous runs into and out of the area.
Way back!, even Leon & Billy both got bored with doing it, eventually!!!!!!!

Same as with McBurnie!'... On the 'goal' front, no one can or will score without the ball and our font men got very little to no supply.
That said I was a little disappointed with what I otherwise saw of him!, he get involved and try to make something/anything happen!, just tended to trot about aimlessly, (TBH, never having the ball didn't help).
Liked the 'flashes' of speed he showed, looks very pacy!.
Will be OK once he settles in to the side (and someone passes him the ball).

Credit where it is due.
IMO, 1 of his best games for us. Excelled and revelled in the 2 against 1 'bullying'! tactics from City, winning headers, ball control & distributing well quite often against his 2 markers.

Came on and gave us more presence in midfield but as with the others around him there was no end product once within 10yds of City's area.

Wants to leave and it shows!.
If he won't sign a contract then he simply should not be anywhere near a Blades shirt on match days.
Didn't as much waste our best scoring chance (And not for the first time since he was refused more money LAST season!), as couldn't be bothered to even try to get it on target, or maybe missed deliberately, as quite a few fans are saying!.
CW has to take his share of the blame for giving him a shirt.

Raced around like a headless chicken but, mainly, busy doing nothing!.

Would have awarded him 9pts had he not passed our best (ONLY!?) scoring chance to the 'waste of a shirt' lundstram.

Expected lots more following on from the previous game!.
Simply never got in to the game (maybe suffered'De Bruyne' awe!!)

Got to give him time to 'settle in'!.
Looked a decent player & covered a lot of ground, but forgot (quite often!) that part of his role was to drop back to help out in defence when needed. Also his ball distribution left a lot to be desired!!.
Hopefully will improve with more game time.

Does/may not like to play in that position, but I still expected him to give it a real go 'when needs must', but he didn't step up!.
Poor display.

Did well over all, especially covering for the players having poor/off games around him, but still susceptible to the ball 'over the top'!!

Simply, not on his game for this one!.
Hopefully just an off-day!.

1 of his poorest games!.
No point in running 40, 50 or 60 yards with or to receive the ball, then doing nothing with it when you get to your opponents pen' area.

His best performance so far, which reflects on his previous displays.
Still punches/palms out into our area way too often, but will give him the benefit of the doubt in this game due to the poor/wet conditions!.
Maybe should have done better with the goal!!
