Hate to say it but this season has got relegation written all over it.. We've got into the habit of losing and even when we play well we find a way of losing

Nah. This is Liverpool away. Still showing plenty of shortcomings creatively but the basis of our performance today has been good enough to stop up. We need to keep this up and find ways of keeping the ball more because when we do, Ampadu and Berge are top quality.

You can’t be offside if you’re behind the ball when it is played. Firminio was marginally ahead of the last man, but very clearly behind the ball.

It was a genuinely good effort today and there were some really good performances in there.

Berge, Ampadu, Osborne all excelled for me.

Very good from Baldock too, and McBurnie a bit better.

Burke showed what he can bring. A bit of a wildcard but if we can get him going properly he is a genuine threat on the break.

Yep. We definitely lack that clinical edge..that was a very decent performance though.

Wilder stuffs it up again. 1-1 and McBurnie missed chances so takes off Brewster.
Liverpool score and now no chance of us scoring.

This. And will he ever take ownership of it? His subs (or lack of them) have killed our chances against Arsenal, Fulham and tonight. Good performance but ultimately we took our foot off the gas and gave away multiple clear chances too easily. Berge, Osborn, Ampadu, Baldock all brilliant. Think Ampadu will be in Norwoods position for the foreseeable future

Positives are Berge and Osborn, both outstanding. Few if any bottom half teams will get anything at Anfield. Play like that against the bottom half and we be reyt

Ampadu was the real highlight for me. Decent performances all round. It's all about handling the pressure when the winnable fixtures come around but that was the first time this season we've really looked like us.
