Whatever game Ipswich thought they were playing today, it certainly wasn't football.

What a genuinely vile team they are.
Yet we're the ones with a "discipline problem"

I'd probably be the last to stick up for Bamford, but from where I saw, that was no dive, the keeper 100% clipped him.
And if any consolation-they are f.cking shit too.

Looked like contract to me. You can easily see Bamford's trailing leg deflect from the Keepers foot. Don't know the rules well enough to say if it's deffo a pen or not, but in the moment, it looked like one to me.

I'd be worried about retrospective action and punishment if I was Soumare, horrible from him here.

Even the Ipswich player looks like he's wincing at the sight of the impact.

Brooks/Seriki on one side McCallum/Hamer on the other gives defences such problems. Peck and Davis solid in the middle. O'HARE being a nuisance, Bamford a threat upfront. So we'll balanced as a team. And sure, Mee and McGuiness pretty steady. Do we still dream of the "P"

Great performance & a big win.

Shame about Bamford now missing Millwall.

Got to build on today & get some form together.

Before kick off there was 57 points to play for, that's 3 achieved. 15 more points to safety first, then who knows...
I knows ….. Mid table.

Think I’m a lonely voice didn’t think we looked that good today though Cooper excellent. Might be that Ipswich are ok team so cancelled us out but fair play we looked the slightly better team even when down to 10 men. Great result.

Form team in the league going for autos and we have quite a few missing or not fully fit.

Maybe not our best performance but best win? Yes.

Imagine getting upset about that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 quims
Mate now you’re getting a bit silly.

I hate reform and all they stand for. But this isn’t the thread that’s all we’re saying.

Im going to get rat arsed on red wine and watch Jaws again. This is a good weekend.

We’ve won. That makes the weekend sweeter. Let’s enjoy it even though the world is going to shit 👍

Cooper played very well today. I’ve been critical of him this season but today he made a few saves, claimed some crosses, and even his kicking was ok. Nice to see.
Trust me mate, back injuries are one of the worst injuries that can happen to a keeper.

I’ll bet my next mortgage payment that’s what has restricted him.

We need competent cover, we currently don’t have that

That's more like it Blades! Some strong performances out there today particularly Cooper, O'Hare and Brooks. Shame about another sending off though.

Blades 3 Ipswich 1

Entertaining match and a good advert for the Championship regards the quality of both teams.

Our previous recent opposition of Stoke, Birmingham and Leicester have all been really poor in very one sided matches where we totally dominated

But this was a much more even contest but United still looked the better side, we seemed more up for it and deserved the 3 points.

Thought the whole team played well. So impressed with the work rate and close control of O’Hate. However thought Hamer looked more up for it today and even Cooper showed positive signs of being back to last years form.

It’s weird how we’ve looked a top 2 side in recent home matches yet are still big outsiders to reach the play-offs.

When we click we’re probably the best team in the league with nothing to fear.

why would you not have fielded today’s team then against a team we had a far better chance of getting the 3 points needed to keep our slim hopes alive?

If you listened to Wilder's post match comments tonight you would know why.

But some have a set narrative and frame everything around 'Wilder out' rather than looking at things with a balanced perspective.

He said Sereki could hardly walk after the Charlton game (playing with only 9 men in the second half).

But many of our resident experts would have started him against Southampton and left him on for 90 minutes - because.

What harm could it possibly do.

Its not your fault you can't fix stupid.

Could the moderators please impose an automatic infraction on those who introduce their political views in threads which are clearly not intended for that purpose , as has been a blatant example in this case

On this forum there are and always have been many opportunities for them to do so , and I welcome this but they do not include threads with the title ‘ Sheffield United v Ipswich Town ‘

Anyone who thinks that , rather than this being an opportunity for them to celebrate a very good Blades victory over a strong opponent is secondary to their often narrow minded views on politics , needs to question their own realisation as to when and where their opinions may or may not be appreciated .

I don’t mind somebody making a joke but people trying to make a debate out of it should wind their necks in.

Yes, but I wrote it pre-match. I’m pleased he answered the question I posed in his post-match presser. It’s a question lots of people were asking. I’m 💯 pro-Wilder & if we could only get 3 points from the last 9, I can see how these 3 points are the most “valuable” in terms of the visuals, momentum, & statement it makes. It was the most difficult fixture to get 3 points from, but we did it in style! Great game, great atmosphere, more of the same now for the remainder of the season pls.
