I know it's only Fulham but we look much better with Norwood playing

Agree...he’s so good at setting the tempo and providing composure to the midfield. Think we’ve looked decent again today.
Regards Fulham...they’ve been like a poor man’s Arsenal...some lovely side to side tippy tappy passing but no urgency and zero threat.

Everyone slagging mcburnie he’s played well and we play far better when he does

He missed a decent chance not a sitter play him with Brewster and it’s a good partnership

Agreed, get Rhian on but don't take Oli off, he's winning absolutely everything and creating good link up play when he drops deep and holds the ball up

He's missed one great chance but it definitely wasn't a sitter as you say, and had a couple of half chances

The reaction from some in here is embarrassing

I'd class 4yrds out as an absolute sitter the only place he shouldn't have put it an he put it right there. His finishing has been awful an hes done little else for me.

A free header from, what 5 yards? That’s not a sitter?

I like McBurnie and he’s playing well, but if he’s gonna keep missing chances like that then he can’t stay in the team.

Fulham are dire. Look all over the shop with all the new players. We should be several up already.

We look sloppy in the box though. Both in terms of the amount of offsides we're giving away for no reason and the poor final balls. Having said that, there have been quality balls in from both wings.

Need to covert one of these chance as soon as possible.

Please tell me you are joking? He has a free header a few yards out and completely mistimes it off his shoulder straight in to the keeper's hands. That was a nailed on goal 19 out of 20 times for any striker worth his salt. Add to that a couple of half chances that were fluffed then I'm afraid it's just not good enough at this level. With him and Didsy we must genuinely have the most ineffective strike force in Premier League history and Wilder clearly has other options.

Lunny is having a great game. Berge looks good in that more advanced role. Norwood, despite not being at his best, is bringing everyone up around him. Should be 2 nil up now. Just need that first goal we are a far better team than Fulham! UTB

I’ve paid the £14.95 to watch it in BT Sport.

0-0 at half time....think both managers will be fairly happy.

Regards Sheff Utd.
We’ve been positive...pushing men forward where possible....clearly wanting to win.
We’ve had almost all the attacking play...creating 2 or 3 half decent chances. Fulham have numbers back in defence so it’s proving difficult to create any clear chances, We definately look the better team and should be 1 or 2 up. We had a goal disallowed for a tight (but correct) offside decision.
The big positive for Sheff Utd is we will have a fresh Brewster to come on 2nd half....so plenty of reasons to feel optimistic.

Regards Fulham
No surprises really....play that Spanish style slow tippy tappy sideways sideways football really well....good at keeping possession
but they seem to want to walk the ball into the net and have zero threat. Think the only way they can score is from a free kick or penalty.
Fulham will feel good that they‘ve hardly created anything but still aren’t losing. You would possibly expect them to improve 2nd half.

Midfield a lot better today. Lundstum actually looks decent on the left with him being so two footed

He is playing well but the bottom line of it is his job primarily is to hit the back of that net, and he just isn't doing enough. Playing well should be a given, with better people upfront we could be well up by a couple or even a few now, even Berge looks like he fancies a goal.

I've had mixed feelings about McBurnie, I wasn't a fan of his attitude when he first turned up but he seems to have mellowed a little, he then started picking his game up and looked stronger which is good but he isn't scoring enough for me.

I think we are playing well, but have a nagging feeling that we won't get what we deserve today.

Re McBurnie, he will do everything today apart from score and everyone will be on his case after
List the things that amount to everything ?

I’ll give you the first one.

Wins header that goes straight to a Fulham player (cue rapturous applause from the apologists !!).

😉.

A tad harsh on McBurnie! XG 0.29
