Not sure if you're implying that it's bizarre that he is represented by an English agency? If so, Stellar have a fairly diverse list of clients, plenty of which are foreign and have never played in England.
Could be a recent switch, with him wanting to move to England, or could just be a coincidence.

A friendly’s not really the same as a competitive game, you’re far less likely to get injured. It would have been part of his pre season, no point disrupting it.
