What is going on in that photo? The scarf says "Sheffield, pride of Sheffield" and the badge is lacking a rose.

Appears to be a young Mesut Özil holding it aloft, too.

The trouble that day the battle lasted all the game was not only on the kop I remember it flared up in the Nelson pub in the evening some of the Newcastle fans were hell bent on trouble that day and they got just as much as they dished out. The only other similar battle between us was with Manure absolute bedlam that day as they got on the Kop first fighting continued all the game and when we were awarded a penalty and Woodward slotted in the winner it was madness indeed

I've got the same one at home. Bought it at Villa away in the cup a few years ago. It was £2 and £1 went to charity (allegedly).

I remember the Newcastle game in early 70's at 1st there were 11 Geordies came on kop in top corner, in the end police took them off not for protection but to stop them battling, god they were ard.
