Simplest thing the front lads have to do is run at players.
They are as fit as fiddles, think about it.
Didn’t say he can’t manage his players.
I know they are fit, but closing down is more than just running after the ball and putting defenders under pressure.
Angles for forward passes for example need to be blocked before closing down...just running and following the ball at 80-90% While it is passed around the back line and into midfield is pointless, and in this league does nothing but make you tired.
They need to learn when to go so not isolated, and how to force teams down the side we want them to go down, suiting our set up and strengths.
Robinson especially needs to learn this.
