My match report....

There’s loads of posts about how good we were collectively and comments on our individual players

So I wanted to comment on an arsenal player in particular.

Matteo Guendouzi

Putting aside his tendency to fall over if the breeze is above mild fart levels, he is a fantastic player. His work rate, movement, confidence to insist on having the ball and then to do something with it, he’s destined for great things. I know he was a bit cocky in France and that might be the reason he hasn’t been handed the captain’s armband at Arsenal (so he doesn’t get carried away with himself) but he is everything that club needs in a Captain. I was so impressed with him tonight. And so young!

...we were immense.

Man of the match? Everyone.

That's all.

Will compile a more measured response tomorrow. Too tired to post tonight. Will try and make time at work tomorrow!
You must give Norwood MOM ,one of the best midfield displays in years from a Blade. Real captains performance ,organised everything and broke up countless attacks as well as playing superb football himself. He will be our manager in the distant future. Fleck would have been there too had that yellow not made him hold back a bit.

Norwood was superb , as he has been in the vast majority of the games he has played since joining us which some , astonishingly , fail to recognise .

However , John Egan's performance was up there among the best I have ever seen from a centre half in a Blades shirt , other than those of Joe Shaw who was in a class of his own .

There can be no higher compliment and he is definitely my MOM .

TC's two goals are ingrained with me. If the board had asked £1 million for him next morning, I'm convinced he'd have been gone by dinner.
Still see him getting return pass from Salmons (?) and low shot just inside the post at the kop for number five.

Look in the Arsenal nostalgia thread started by Sothall and you will see the match reports and photos of all 5 goals.

MOM has to go to a defender, as good as Norwood was (although I don't recall him playing any superb football last night, more his defensive game was stellar for a change!)

Will be completed by 6pm all being well - sorry hard to do when at work but will get onto it now.

Probably that you don't want to recall, Norwood was part of the defence last night and to say 'for a change' makes you look ridiculous

Both Enda Stevens and John Egan were on a different planet last night. Eleven out of ten for them both from me.
