Does it cross your mind that 1 Your post gets back to him.
2 The rest of the team love him as instanced by the togetherness and 3 I can't remember a standing ovation like the one he got when substituted.
How about using the Cunt word for targets that deserve it like the Pig's Leeds and Gareth Ainsworth.

You can't remember a standing ovation like todays when Madine went off? Serioulsy?
We've got Madine
Gary Madine
I just don't think you understand
He used to be a twat
He called Billy fat
Now he's our goal machine

Clarke after he scored 4 in the 2nd half against Hull got a better ovation when he was subbed off.Not for a single player no mate I can't.
Probably witnessed plenty of cracking ones but none better. Doubt you have either.
Absolutely. There are some numpties on here, there really are...

Gave you a like for the irony.Absolutely. There are some numpties on here, there really are...
What happened to the ones who wouldn't go to the lane till he leaves? Did they enjoy crystal peaks or just laying low?
Have to say I prefer the old chestnut "he used to be shite, but now he's alright..."
I got asked a question on FB by a piggy mate (i have lots of banter with him, but he's been very impressed with us recently and is also a big fan of Wilder) when i posted a comment congratulating Madine on his first goal. He said, "I thought you hated him"
My reply was simple, I did. But with Madine, its entirely understandable that he's not liked as a person more than a player. He's had a career littered with issues and he was, for want of a better word, a twat in the eyes of those that don't know him. The courts pretty much called him this when he had a drink.
On the pitch and off it whilst he was at the Pigs and then when we had our brief League 1 battle with Bolton, he hadn't changed, said and did things which pissed us off....
Yet he went to Cardiff and worked with a manager that puts high demands on players for hard work.
Its become a cliche but when Wilder signed him he said that it takes some balls to come to a club that hate you and yet he's done that. I think Madine's comments since he arrived have been spot on, he wants to be part of the passion.
Since he's arrived, he's worked his arse off on the pitch, against Villa he was very good, but was knackered when he came off. Yesterday though, he was excellent, he's working for the team and the players seem to like him.
So why not give a player that chance to prove themselves? We've all been waiting (some wanting) for him to fail, i for one would've almost been happy to see his demise from the game. He was a pantomime villain for us over the years, but seems to have turned that to his advantage.
Right now, personally i think he's gone up in my estimation and i think he deserves the recognition for that. Good on him. There is a player in there and I sincerely hope that his past is behind him.
Now go get us promoted and make yourself a Blades Legend 'Gaz'!
Cheers, it takes some justifying but i am happy that as long as he continues in the way he is doing then its good for everyone. All fair points well made mate. Have a like. That's what balanced debate ought to be like on this forum, not some of the embarrassing shite we see.
Oh, but by the way, still can't bring myself to like your last sentence. I'm nowhere near that point.![]()
