How optimistic are the dark side ?
Looking at our points compared to 6th place - Derby ,If they continued their PPM then they would finish on around 73 points .

Our current 50 points would mean another 23 from 19 games which isonly 1.21 points per game and I am sure we can get most of them at home ?

Listening to the pigs they still think they can get a play off spot once Brucie gets cracking but on current form to just get to 73 points (its usually more) they would need another 41 points from 19 games which is MORE than any team is getting at the moment (2.16 points per match )
Think even the Pitsmoor pig cant think this is possible ?

I don’t understand what they think Bruce will do when he gets back off his holiday. His coaching team are there at the moment, he’s not a master tactician and has zero personality (at least that’s how he comes across).

A lot is said about our pessimism, but it's well justified by past events. It's also a tactic used to try to not get too far ahead of ourselves.
Even some Liverpool fans are pessimistic at the moment, they've thrown the title away a couple of times in the last 10 years and some of them think they'll throw it away again this year, they're humble enough to be pessimistic.

As far as Wendy are concerned, pessimism doesn't exist because what could possibly go wrong.
When things do go wrong it hasn't even happened, it just gets rejected from the memory bank and they start clapping again
They're too stupid and arrogant to be pessimistic

Its the culture of a club ,but cultures can be changed .it just takes events to change them

Pigs are 9 points off relegation. Weren't we nine points off the autos a month ago? Things can change quickly in football.

They were totally outplayed yesterday.
They'll be lucky to get to 60 points this term.

I know a few decent S6 lot - they are thinking top half, nothing more - but defo not playoffs.

I also know some real gobby lot - and they have been ultra quite since September LAST season.

There might be some crap coming off porktalk, but generally they know the initial Chansiri game is up - they are waiting to see how it all pans out in the next few months with Brucie and the ground sale.

Their WHOLE season rests on a single game early March.

Yes its like hes going to be the Messiah isnt it ? I guess the thick ones dont realise that statistsics are against them ?

Bruce to smash FFP to bits in the summer and build a new team, his team.

Then it’s heads or tails what happens..

They could be promoted the wolves way, but would likely get a points deduction and fine if they stay down..

Chansiri “mr” rumoured to be selling the ground to his dads company in order to get money into the club, but this hinges on the land ownership of the site the ground is built on, the dad wants them to own the land before he gets involved.. dad will then be coming onboard to “show him how it’s done” running a football business apparently..

Finally Chansiri is also involved in property development, something he’s keeping pretty quiet about, wonder why?

I often have a look on Porktalk and to be fair there are not many after yesterday saying they still can get to the play offs.
Hull seem to have pissed on that particular fire.
Although it could reignite in the next 6 games because they play the likes of Wigan,Rotherham, Reading, Millwall, Ipswich and Brentford.

It could easily go the other way too

Not surprising when Phase 2 of Parsons Cross estate would be the outcome. I'd be all in favour of it provided they kept the perimeter wall up.

To be fair, it would be very Sheffield United for us to drop like a stone whilst they start putting a run together. Years upon years of shite have this negative attitude ingrained into us.

I was talking to a Wednesday fan mate the other day and I said it absolutely sums us both up that they’re talking about putting a run together for the play offs and we are talking about having fifty points and being safe from relegation.

Also they have a very kind run of winnable games coming up, I know that means nothing as they’re bobar but a few wins for them and few loses for us and the knives will be back out on here. Things can change very quickly in football.

Fingers crossed we keep putting the performances in and getting the results. Personally don’t think Brucey is a good appointment for them, just spunks money and hopes it works out, bad combination with a chairman who knows nowt about football,

Killing 96 people, having players sent to prison and being within hours of oblivion didn't change them, what are these events you speak of?

How do they smash FFP tho Tezza?

They are reported to have already broken FFP so that means another embargo. (rumour knocking about that they are already back under another "secret" embargo) How does Bruce go about signing Messi and Ronaldo with another embargo in place?

Exactly, the FFP rules are a rolling on issue
Break the rules over a three year period and you're in bother

Breaking the rules over a three year period means only one thing.......SELL
If you don't you'll break the rules again between years 2-4
