Is it just me , but apart from Andy Giddings, does anyone think that the new presenters are really boring. . I don’t know if it’s because they lack a northern accent but I find myself quite irritated by them and don’t listen to praise and grumble etc . I heard one of them interview chris wilder and I think he sounded irritated by him too .. just saying that’s all ... perhaps we have been spoiled in the past. I expect we may get used to them..

Tbf they're relatively new and probably still getting a feel for what they can and can't get away with saying. Like a new player they take time to bed in.

McCarthy is taking some getting used to. Oxley has blended in much better, but to be fair he has been around the place for a while, if not in a full time/presenting role.

One thing is for sure though, Staton was a huge loss and if Giddings were to leave I could see listener numbers plummeting.

I wonder if the new presenters not from the area have ever heard such deluded crap from a set of football fans as Wendy's.
I'd love one of them to listen to the Wendy delusions and then say "Look pal, outside of Sheffield nobody thinks or gives a toss about you"

yes, that's a good way of saying it, he's taking some getting used to, especially in the CW interviews for me. Also a blatant pig pretending to be a Blade on the call in tonight totally passed him by. If he sticks around I'm sure he'll be ok.
