Forget Wembley, Carlos or player recruitment. If you could pick one defining moment this season when it all started to go wrong what would it be?

Opening match?

Swapping Winnall for Butterfield?

Sol Bamba's equaliser for Cardiff in 95th minute?

Duffy's goal for United?

October international break?

Other?

I do think us beating them really effected them. Their fan base were furious and really started to turn on the team. They went to Birmingham and lost a few days after and the whole club never really seemed to get over the defeat before the injuries totally ruined them.

They hardly have any injuries but they do have lots of players who cannot play for one reason or another.

I've heard similar rumours from other blades. They're not playing certain players because they can't afford to pay the add on clauses in the contracts. Forest fairy is one example that I've heard about?. UTB

Didn't they beat Leeds 3-0 shortly after and try to make out they had a world class squad still and were "unlucky" against us?

Billionaire owners, 'investing' in clubs eh.

Glad we do no wish for such.

Said it all along that Duffy's goal was the turning point in the piggy's season.

The bullshit they spouted about how good this league was and how shit we were was the turning point. They used deriding us all summer to cover up their total lack of squad investment

Not too mention we beat top of the table wolves that same night must have be a season long nightmare for them

I think if you look at their results it was the late equaliser that Hull got at the beginning of December. Since then they have lost 10 of their 16 matches and only won two.

They had a dodgy spell after being pasted by us, but then went on a 7 match unbeaten run. The last of those games was against Hull. Hooper scored late in the game and they appeared to have the points, but Dawson scored deep into added on time which probably completely deflated them. Their results since then suggest that was the critical moment.

Us starting the season in La Liga so well had already affected them before that game. Seem to remember Carlos saying that in an interview - our successful start had made them nervous. Long may it continue.

Yes they did. And many of them were saying that regardless of the pasting they took from us they were the better side and would finish above us.

Well, we are now in the final third of the season. We have 18 more points than them and have played a game less than them. We have won more games than them. We have lost fewer games than them. We have scored more goals than them. We have conceded fewer goals than them. We took 4 points from them. They took 1 point from us. We are 9th. They are 17th. We are averaging nearly 1000 through the turnstiles per match more than them.

Our form over the last 3 months has been average, but we have still accumulated almost twice as many points as them in that time.

How do they define finishing above us?

It is a pity there are more shit teams than them in the league.
