Unless your Monty, Killa or the two Kyle's then the rest of the Blades players should be disgusted in the performance they put in, get rid of cotterill and Quinny what a waste they heve been, lets hope Blackwell doesn't take to long to make his exit, the bloke is clueless. One up front on a pitch that big, masterstroke, must have been the easiest game the burnley back four has had all season!!!!!! One more thing, did most of the Blade leave there voices back home?????????

I disagree about Cotterill, I think he has had a good second half of the season and been one of our most dangerous players, yes, he did play poor yesterday, but most players did. He's only 21 and I think he will turn out to be a quality winger.

The other point to note about Cotterill is that he was brought off simply because he was being marked out of the game. He had no options and very few oppertunities to run with the ball. Burnley knew his strength and made sure that as soon as he received the ball he was covered from all angles.

Paddy had nothing to do all day apart from pick the ball out after a good strike.

Halford and Cotterill were ok but not spectacular - but name me a winger we've had in years who's been consistant.

And we all know that creative midfield and a striker have been areas where we've been weak for ages.

Too harsh on Blackwell too. The 4-5-1 formation worked well against Preston and most folk on here supported it too. Blackie changed to 4-4-2 soon enough for me - only for Wardy to get himself sent off - at which point it was always going to be nigh on impossible to get a result.

Disappointing - but let's not have knee-jerk reactions.

Cotterill just had a bad game, hardly had any chance of running with the ball, however as soon as he came off walker was darting forward a lot more.
