I think there is, plus it's only £3 for concessions. This won't be the only time we do a beam back this season.

2000 tickets available at £7 a ticket

Is there enough demand for this???

This will be a marketing exercise by the club and quite possible with the FA and can see it being trialed at other clubs in the future.

If Forest, like us are only allowing a small number of away fans and all the away tickets sell out relatively quickly, then it's a no brainer.

Home and away clubs make a financial agreement as to the proceeds.

It's innovative and the way that ifollow has positioned itself from this season, this could be a natural extension to that.

I'd expect to see more in the future.

Unless you are smack bang infront of the screen, its like watching a game on your phone. Hopefully they will use the new big screen aswell.

Someone should have thought of this 50 years ago together with tighter control of visiting away fans and football hooliganism would have been nipped in the bud.

Instead of a beamback how about a recreation?

22 actors/players are fed a live stream of the Forest game through some fancy glasses.
They then have to recreate the exact game with a few seconds delay.
Every pass, every shot identical to the actual match...

I think I'm on to something here
What a great idea! Now THAT, I would pay to watch.

A bit like the Monty Python battle of pearl harbour.

3D projection of the players onto our pitch - like Michael Jackson - but not Michael Jackson.

Seems a bit of a strange decision to do this for a normal league game at the beginning of the season. It'd be a better idea to show every away game in one of the suites at The Lane.

Surely it should've been for the pigs game. And that would've also been a safer option that allowing town centre boozers to screen it

It's live on Sky so they aren't allowed. They are showing it in one of the suites though, or it might be the hotel.....

Don't joke - I watched a stream of the Northampton beamback and it was top quality.
I was sort of joking but we will go down for the beamback. What's the atmosphere like though, i find it hard to imagine. what did it come across like on the stream, the atmosphere that is?

Where would you rather be?

Well if it's a choice between Glasgow and Nottingham then Glasgow every time. Great city, great people.

Although last time I was there was the day United got promoted. Awful timing, but it was my mates stag weekend so I couldn't avoid it.....he's a Pig as well, to make matters worse.

I think we can agree on Glasgow over Nottingham, always.

Had some great nights out there.

You can have a beer in your seat. That sold it for me. 1st half Northampton, nervous. Second half, brilliant.
