Couldn’t believe how quite everyone was tonight. Even the kop were mute for about 85 minutes of the game. Wierd atmosphere tonight - maybe cos we havnt had a home game for ages? Full voices on Saturday everyone!

Thanks to all the lazy, spineless bullshitters who say they'll turn up but don't. Much appreciated. Cheers lads!

No doubt you'll tag along when the 'secret Blade army' do all the hard work for you and get it going...

Looked pretty empty up there :(

Well done for trying. Maybe just try to get the Kop organised!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was up there tonight but as noted it was dead. Not sure how many were expected to show up but can see why Ricky is pissed off when it seemed a fair few had said they were moving up there.

On a more positive note I had forgotten how good the view is up there .

You deserved a lot more for the work you put in to this Ricky. Fair play to you, felt for you tonight as it was a sorry turnout. Too many stuck in their ways or too stubborn to try something new to improve the atmosphere.

I'll say it myself, I deserve a hell of a lot more. But as I said, people are lazy, weak and fucking spineless. Zombified football stadiums are the future. The people have spoken.

Oh well, we'll always have the faint hearted background noise from the back 3 rows of the Kop.

Rearranged Burton on a Tuesday night was always going to be a small crowd and a tough call. a big Saturday game would have been better. We've got some big home games coming up, it could be worth another effort. But I understand if Ricky wants to call it a day.

The club could offer some inducement like initial 10 quid tickets for the BLUT "singing block"

Yep, cheers Foxy.

Be interested to hear reasons those who said yes but didn't move did so... As much as I support any sensible action to improve the atmosphere, I was never moving myself and never said I would... But don't get why people would say they would and then don't act.

The fixture change will have had an effect and it was a disappointing crowd all round tbh.

I said I would have done it for a game. Just couldn't do it tonight. Got somebody who comes with us who wouldn't have made it up all the stairs (arthritis).

I genuinely feel like it's a great idea and you shouldn't give up on it. Sometimes things like this take time to get started

I never expected much with the fixture rearrangement unfortunately, but I had to go ahead with it. It would've been just as bad had it gone ahead on the Saturday though with the snow limiting ticket sales.

Chin up Ricky. Rome wasn't built in a day and you've had some bad luck with this fixture.

Just like the other two games! Someone else should take over because I'm fucking cursed.

I won't give up but it's completely reliant on ST availability now.

I'm fucked if I'm going to put any more effort in this season for spineless lazy bastards who are all talk and no action.

I think you did a good job publicising it - can't ask for any more than that.

I can only apologise for my name being on the list of people who said yes. It never even crossed my mind that I'd said it earlier in the year and I'd still be making those numbers up on the poll for tonight.

You didn't vote in this poll though, just that first one months ago, and unlike most you actually intend to contribute so there's nothing to apologise for.

I said yes and if I could have made the game tonight I would have been up there.
The "spineless lazy bastards who are all talk and no action." comment is a bit of an over reaction.

Five of us moved over again last night from the Family stand. Unfortunately I was 5 mins late and the others had taken their allocated seats just to the left and below the designated area. When I joined it was clear that there were very few (if any) who’d moved so we stayed where we were. Agree with the comments about the atmosphere, it was very subdued everywhere.

For what it’s worth I still think it’s a good idea but irrespective of whether others join we’ll now be moving across to BLUT for every remaining game this season. Quite simply it’s the best view at the Lane which is ample compensation if Ricky’s initiative doesn’t get going. If others join we’ll already be there, starting Saturday against Forest.
