He probably will. All from dodgy penalties he's 'earned' as usual.

Thick twats.

Can we file charges of cultural appropriation on them using the term "pig"? It's our term. Barnsley, Rovrum, Donny, Chezzy all call Wendy pigs and us the spliff- I mean Blunts.

You'd think they'd keep quiet about penalties.

Hoping we might have got an update on some signings but that doesn't seem to be the case, may find out more on thursday

Wilder was asked early on - talked about keeping our powder dry.

So Didn't really sound like there was anything close to happening

I actually piss myself laughing when I hear or read someone calling us "the blunts". It's so shit it's funny.

Their manager actually sounds like a decent guy - I think he's too good for them they deserve someone like Gary megson instead. Or Paul Fart.

From a group of supporters who idolise that diving twat from Argentina, this really is quite a staggering comments.

They're a weird lot. They keep saying we are in for a big surprise, but they've got a league prediction thread on porktalk and only 1 poster so far has got us down as bottom 3.

The majority don't think we will go down so they are pretending we are all saying we will go straight up in a bid to try and take the piss. You only have to look at the prediction thread on here to see that the majority don't expect anything other than consolidation this season .

Rotherham and Barnsley managers come across quite well. I like the positivity and honesty of Warne (sorry if I got his name wrong) and how he's addressed things at the club

I used to think Carlos spoke fairly directly but he's hard to listen to, seems like he's going to answer the question and then goes back and answers again.. but doesn't answer it. It's the interview equivalent of watching JCR try to cross the ball. In the end you just wonder what the Fuck has happened
I thought they all spoke well, although Carloss was hard to follow and, as you say, a bit waffly. Really enjoyed listening to it.

It seems to me their main reason for optimism is Wilder. I dont really understand why. If he was so brilliant how come hes never even managed above league 1? He took up a team that should have gone up every year the last 6 seasons and they went up against the might of Fleetwood et al.
Hes hardly Mourhino or Sir Alf Ramsey is he.

He may well do ok in the Championship but lets be honest its blind optimisim. if the Championship was the Grand National ould many people back a horse whos did well in their only race but it was a donkey derby?

Wow they are a funny old bunch!

So back to football heaven manager special rather than what's being said on the opposition forum...

Heckingbottom - talks very well, relaxed and confident.
Caldwell - sat there wondering what he was doing there for most of it but was quite intelligent and funny when he spoke.
Ferguson - a little more interesting than I expected having seen him before.
Warne(r?) - very positive, good insight into how he's approached the job and quite humble as well. Talked a lot about working hard and fitness
Carlos - spoke a lot to start. Seemed to drag out his answers and confuse instead of just answering. Likeable fella though
Wilder - just enjoying himself and chipping in with his comments

All seem decent characters and I think the local game is in good hands with a few of these fellas in charge. Didn't appear to be any relations where you thought looked frosty, which is how it should be.

Whereas Carlost had a track record in the Championship second to none when he joined the pigs from a Portuguese nothing league

They talk crap

They all talk crap, make sh1t up to fuel agenda driven garbage.

Wilder will be classless and abusive (cue rest of thread being classless and abusive piggies).

We all think we'll piss the league (can only remember 1 or 2 on here being quietly optimistic).

They really are a weird lot. Wouldn't surprise me if they trolled all the other websites saying how 'Blades think they'll piss the league... do you prefer us to them' kinda crap.

They are fucked on Jorden Rhodes, 10 million quid, won't take a pen and used up all their dosh.

Just need a few bad results and a big falling out amongst t'pigs ranks and jobs a good un'

UTB!

It's so hilarious listening to the snort beasts. They're so fucking deluded!!. So much hatred against wilder is just bad blood on their part!!. It just sounds like jealousy?. Utb

They seem to think our manager is a scruffy alcoholic tramp with a chip on his shoulder. When what he is is a decent, honest, hard working proper Sheffielder. There aren't many of those at the Stadium of Grunts.

Wilder also said that Moore will be out for 4-6 weeks, all our other injury worries are back in training this week.

i Love the 'he's hardly Mourinho' quote.

Yeah, I'd love to see Mourinho manage a team with no cash from the lower leagues.
I think he'd be good. He's basically a man manager who plays fairly simple, well organised football. I'd like to see Guardiola manage Rochdale, that would be interesting.

Mourinho has proven to be an awful Man Manager. How many youths has he hung out to try in the press?

A scruffy alcoholic tramp with a chip on his shoulder? He'd be a pig if he were, he'd be ideally qualified.

A couple at least. But players in the past worshipped him. Maybe he's lost it a bit or maybe he was laying down his authority by digging out players who deserved it, and who haven't responded to advice and encouragement. I've heard Shaw is thick as shit and a bit lazy. Perhaps he'd had enough.

I think Martial played better after he'd been criticised a bit. It's unorthodox but players' mentalities are different to how they were twenty years ago, perhaps sometimes a different approach is needed?

If they don't win the league they'll come very close.

(Porktalk quote alert) "what that bloke should of said and what he meant to say was "Are you going to create some decent chances for Jordan Rhodes ?""

Silly porker. Did he mean, better chances than one from 12 yards out with no defenders and only a keeper between him and the back of the net? Love how they think the great £9m bottler would do better in a real-match situation than he COULD have done from the spot.

Can't wait for Billy to outscore the cowardly porky shithouse next season.
