I like the roar Wilder got at the beginning. The others only received an applause, Carlos also had a lone woman cheer.

The problem is that apart from young Hirsty, they don't seem to be producing much

I tried to be sympathetic wth my appraisal of their youth system if I'm honest I've only ever heard of Hirst. I have been through this route system it dreadful to say the least. The Blades were producing and recruiting better even when they were an Academy and we were only a School of Excellence

Warne will be sacked by Christmas

I heard a clip of Tony Stewart on RS saying playoffs or automatic promotion is expected.

Then last night Paul Warne said they'd like to push toward the playoffs and that would be a good season. If he meets the Cahirman today, he might not even make it past 2/8/17.

All the best managers know how to under promise and over deliver, and I'm not just talking football there.

Perception of reality is all about initial expectation.

I'm not just saying this because it's them... They have a LONG way to go to reach the levels of our academy.

I know at least 3 Wednesday fans at younger age groups who had the opportunity to join the Wednesday academy but joined us instead because of how we develop players. That says it all.

Billy is the obvious answer. I reckon its nailed on that he'll score against the Pigs.

I'm usually not far off the money on managers and I don't feel he has what it takes to be a manager. Talks well, but not with the authority I'd be looking for in a manager. Wilder, Caldwell, Ferguson and Heckingbottom all ooze that. Carlos just seems like a coach to me but he's done reasonably well at the sty but then he has had £30m which he's spunked away! Ha ha!

Football Heaven is back,...YAY! time for Pitsmoor and Brian to be allowed their one phone call a day from their padded cells..

I was glad that Guardiola failed (to a certain extent). He'd more or less inherited the best team in Europe wherever he went. In fact he actually took Bayern backwards.

Not sure on that one. He took over a Barca side very much in transition and bombed out a few of the old guard to do things his way. Eto'o and Ronaldinho spring to mind. Plus, I wouldn't say managing a team where anything less than huge success is a failure, as anything approaching easy
