the reason weve been linked is fairly obvious , big club on the up former player, Jags getting older , championship might be his best option for successSometimes you can take odds at the bookies with a pinch of salt.
For example if I went to bookies and put £10K on Jags singing for newly promoted Donny Rovers in league 1.
Then Doncaster would immediately be odds on favourites as the next club he'll join.
In fact I've heard it said there the bets don't need to be that much.
Not sure if it's true but even if someone bet £50 on Jags joining Doncaster then they would instantly be amongs the favourites to be Jags next destination.
Also to be fair, even with massive investments I think paying Jags 5 times more than our other players would be poor value for money. We can spend funds on much better players.
Dont see the Doncaster bit at all, Phil could join a big club in the championship but not league one
