This would just be incredibly bad luck. He's probably our biggest emerging attacking threat at a time we're struggling to score.

Definitely a blow and I feel for the lad. Thankfully though with Duffy and Scoogs we still have good rotation for the no10 role, along with Clarke who looks better sitting deeper anyway. Where we may struggle for options is out wide. Maybe Lavery to feature more?

Maybe more matchday squad time for Brooks as well?

He was one of my main hopes for the second half of the season.

If it is a long term injury it'll fuck us up.

I'm thinking more along the lines of an injury that absolutely ruins him as a player.

Ok , the injury is a bit of a blow for the lad but he's barely troubled the first team all season . Even when he has played he's brilliant one game and virtually anonymous for the next 5 . And this is the player you're pinning all our hopes upon ? Seriously ??

If he's out long term we can sign a replacement in 4 weeks so what's the problem ?

Now if that was Fleck on crutches ( god forbid ) you'd have a point , but it isn't . It's a loan signing on crutches who's very hit and miss for us ..... so calm down

We've seen what he's capable of.

He'll only get better as the season goes on.

We have nobody else like him in the squad.

One good game in 6 is a big exaggeration. He's barely even played 6.

It won't be easy to sign a good replacement.

Agree with this, in Chapman's defence he has hardly been given enough starts to get really up and running with any kind of regular form.

I've just seen his Twitter feed, I hope it doesn't turn out to be as bad as some fear.

I'd just like just wish the lad all the best for a speedy and full recovery for now. I'll debate how this might impact on United when I know the full SP.

Haha I remember someone saying on here or bladesmad not to worry because we had Elliott Whitehouse to replace Kevin McDonald.

From what I've seen Brooks is far too raw to pass any kind of judgement of his capabilities at first team level.
