If we didn't know already, it gives a bigger insight into what Wilder expects from his team. If we get anywhere near the performances we saw from Bradders, then we will have side that will be committed, at the very least. Isn't this one of the biggest complaints we had last season (and seasons before), that players didn't care.

If Wilder can get these players committed and playing in the way that Wilder himself and Bradshaw used to play for us, then we're halfway there. If we also get some decent football as well, even better.

Yeah i think so too. With so many changes this year its difficult to see the characters yet, but i do get the feeling that those characters will start to come out as we progress through September to December.

One thing that I loved after the Oxford game was the interview with Knill, he was almost taken aback by the atmosphere in the second half as we chased the game. Nothing wrong with being a builder at all but it just seems so wrong that he's working his bollocks off after he gave everything for our club and there are players who don't give a crap about us and still get paid stupid money and probably won't ever need to work past the age of 35. How things have changed and not for the better. Keith, Dane and Bradders 3 heroes for me and all having to work hard when rubbish players can now command £10k a week just doesn't seem right to me

I didn't see much to be encouraged about vs. Oxford. There wasn't much in terms of cohesion, much less in terms of expansive play/flowing football or any hint of a style.

But what I did see was glimmers of a side that looks like it is starting to understand how to grind out results. That alone got us a win from the jaws of defeat last Saturday.

If Wilder can remind us fans what that feels like, he will have the fans on his side. The cup competitions have always been a catalyst for us, I would love another Clough/2014 or Warnock/2002.

He doesn't have to work his bollocks off ,but he does because that's in his character ,grafter on and off the pitch ,mind you he will be pissed off when I tell I need a new patio next week
