A little snippet in amongst an article about Lavery, from the Star:
If we didn't know already, it gives a bigger insight into what Wilder expects from his team. If we get anywhere near the performances we saw from Bradders, then we will have side that will be committed, at the very least. Isn't this one of the biggest complaints we had last season (and seasons before), that players didn't care.
If Wilder can get these players committed and playing in the way that Wilder himself and Bradshaw used to play for us, then we're halfway there. If we also get some decent football as well, even better.
Brads, in my era, was a great example. He carved out a career here, was a big player for us and a great success. If, like Brads, they stick the lot on the pitch, leave everything out there and have a go, everything else goes out of the window. I believe Lavs will do that for the team and us.”
