Straight down the footballing ladder, where he belongs - hopefully.

Arguably one of the worst players I've had the misfortune to have watched.

He tried to go down the tunnel but It kept overtaking him.

UTB

Not really worked out has it. Seems to lack pace (not alone there) but also unable to beat a man which is kind of important on the wing.

Nothing more than a squad player right now and a limited one. Could only see him adding value as a sub at 80 minutes when we are 2-0 up, to steady the ship. Then again I reckon I could do that.

Woolford didn't do anything right, his worst bit of play was mis-controlling a throw-in that was perhaps 3 yards away. Utter garbage signing from Adkins.
I imagine he must have been a good player back in the day as Adkins made a good few hundred grand selling him to Bristol and he stayed in the championship thereafter.

He must have got gradually worse since because he was absolutly atrocious yesterday and has been all season. No talent at all.

I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I thought most people were quite positive about him when he signed, ditto Hammond? It clearly isn't working out but don't let's all use hindsight to blame Adkins' jusgement (and I genuinely couldn't comment at the time because I had never seen either of them play).

Not so much hindsight as eyesight being used here Traffers.

No-one knows how a signing will work out until the player starts to play, however, it is the manager (and/or his staff) who SHOULD know what he's getting.
A bit like buying a used car, take a mechanic with you or you could end up with a dud. Whoever did the once over on Wooly didn't have a full set of spanners by the look of it.

We have ended up with enough duds thanks to Clough. If we could get their engines turning over for more than 2 matches a season it would be a start.

That said I am surprised Coutts is actually fit.

He's brought them in based on what they offered 4-5 years ago when they played for him last time. It seems that time plus playing in a struggling team has resulted in them being less than fantastic

I don't rate him but to be fair I don't rate a number of our players. He's one of quite a few that simple offers nothing. It's not even that he does things wrong, he just does nothing. I'm not sure what his purpose in the team is.

One of several that needs to be moved on and it won't happen quickly.

I know what you're getting at but it is possible to be positive about a player coming in then upon watching him change your mind, just like i have done, he makes bad look good.

Two year deal says he is here for a while, wonder if he is one of the players KM identified on a contract not commensurate with a League 1 Club.
