Who is going to take the lad, if he is on decent money here, nobody at the level he can play at, and to pay him off would affect the transfer budget.
That's why I put hope so mate, can't see it happening just like yourself but we can only hope :)

Has anybody stopped to think that he's here cause he's accepted wank money, didn't mill wall release him when they dropped down to league one, doesn't that say all we need to know, Adkins might have got him on the cheap..

If he's got him for nothing he was still robbed..
Waste of space and he can't even claim he's been injured or didn't get a preseason...

We were linked to Woolford before Adkins came in. I do wonder what happens in these situations. Have the Scouts said we should sign him and convinced the new manager so? Has a preliminary deal already been put in place? Either way I completely agree that he is one if the worst players I have ever seen.

Actually felt sorry for him yesterday. It was as if Adkins waited till he got as near the touchline as possible before subbing him so there could be no "walk of shame".

Woolford's like Marcus Williams on a permanent bad day.
He'll be being paid about £250,000 per year to put in a pub footballer's shift, contributing to us having to live with third division football.

Don't shed too many tears.

Us United fans between us do not ever have much empathy or sympathy with even new players who are having a bad time in their careers. Of course each and every one of us fans have had bad times in our own careers and we had our own views just how long and when we would snap out of it.

Certain posters on here ( including those who relate to players becoming florists, being dithering 10 year olds, fat lazy bastards etc. etc) seem to revel in the misfortunes of players.

They are human beings trying to make their way in life AND THEY ARE ON OUR SIDE!!

Woolford is probably one of the unhappiest men in football at present. Everybody likes to be loved. Some comments on here are tinged with hate.

Surely we wish them well, even if it's only as a means to our own selfish ends.

Who are you St John the Baptist?

Why don't you start your own forum where only posts offering praise and love for everyone and everything are accepted.

I'm sure you will enjoy it, I also suspect you won't get many members on it.

I will stay on here where I will give praise where I beleive it's due and criticism where I belive it's due I also reserve the right to be happy, grumpy, and any of the other five dwarves, including their next door neighbours sarcastic, argumentative and pedantic... If that's alright with you?

Why don't you become a florist instead and where you can spread your joy and goodwill?:)

Come on tezza, no matter how much they are on we simply don't need any more players of Woolfords' calibre, i have seen him enough of him already to suggest we get rid as soon as possible. If you want to pay to watch him then fine but i'd rather we see players who are league one standard, he might have been that standard once upon a time but he is certainly not now.

As I said previously, he's being paid "£250,000" a year to be disappointed with his lot with us. I'm paying out cash to be pissed off with it.

Woolford will see out his contract and then find a club at a lower level. He will survive, and not give us a second thought. Unfortunately, we won't be able to switch off like that.

And it's not personal. I'm hoping about 15 others will follow him out of the door.

I bet Coutts is one of our highest earners :-)

Very poor signings by a very poor manager.
Signing Hammond on a permanent in January is to be expected and that will tell you all you need to know about the inadequacies of our manager.
This. He couldn't even get his head around the fact we needed 2 CB's first. No competent manager would have prioritised other positions in the circumstances, not to mention how unbelievably awful they were when he did.

He genuinely came across as though he was happy heading into the season with Collins and McEveley at centre half. And it's clear how much of a good measure of his woeful judgement that's turned out to be. Only a manager as clueless as he is could have gone into the season with that nonsensical mindset.

Come on Barn. You have enough new accounts now me old. Think of poor Foxy's bandwidth costs.

Sorry to disappoint you BP but there are many fans other than Barney who are disenchanted with Mr Adkins and slowly but surely they are beginning to vote with their feet. We have gone backwards from Clough and our latest non-performance has done nothing to ease the concerns that quite rightly appear to have spread to the boardroom.
