Typical comments from self entitled, glory hunting, premier league know nowts who probably live 150 miles from Liverpool, but thier great grandaddy once had a day out in Liverpool so that means they have to support them.

So typical of the breed, they never look at Football outside the top 6 of the Prem and thier view is based on historic Bassett and Warnock teams. Mark Lawrenson is the perfect example of this breed.

Woodburn is not playing because he is no where near the quality of the other players in our team and looks like a scared little lad when he comes on. Just as James Wilson will, he will be playing Scottish or League 1 football in the next couple of years.

What it really highlights is the fiscal stupidity of the top clubs who hand enormous sums of money to young players before they have proved anything. James Wilson, Ben Woodburn, they are just the next Jordan Slews.

I still think young Ben will play a part this season, he managed to get a place on the bench early on but in the few chances he had looked off the pace. It seems that he also had a slight knock but in the meantime we were playing so well he hasn't been able to force his way back in. It is a long tough season though & I am sure he will get chances, he must grab them when he does.

Fair point Ken, but it could be just as much a learning curve for Wilder as it is for anyone else involved. I'm sure if it was us loaning out a young player we'd want to know why they weren't involved. What it does prove is that you should never be held to hostage, thus they come here on the basis that we're not just an outlet to hone their skills, we're a club challenging for promotion and a young player must be up to scratch, otherwise they receive exactly what they deserve. I hope Klopp appreciates these points, I'd be disappointed if he adopted the view that his player deserved special treatment.

Utter garbage from sources completely ignorant of how we play or what Championship football is like. What's even more ironic is that Jurgen Klopp would not pick a player purely on reputation either - he would want the player to work hard to earn his place.
