As a Wolves fan, ultimately it doesn't matter anymore what Wolves or Wigan fans say about Evans. We can only speak about what we have seen in the past, with Evans playing in a particular position, formation or team set up that will no longer apply in future. He is all yours now, with a clean slate and a blank canvas and he will become whatever you (Wilder) make of him.
There have been plenty of players who have been transformed through a change in manager or position etc. Coady (who you were rightly chasing earlier this season) is a prime example for us, suddenly transformed from a reserve midfielder to the heart of our team through a change in position and formation. Evans has talent and it is just up to Wilder to get more out of him than previous Wolves managers have been able to do in the past. The rest is all just history now.
