Will we sell out?

I’ve never understood this obsession with ‘taking over’ public places.

Maybe I’m showing my age, or maybe I’m just a boring sod, but it’s like “how old are you, 12?”

Oooo look at us, we’re in that big London, and we want everyone to know how pissed people from the provinces can get.

A few beverages in the pubs of Wembley with fellow Blades is quite enough for me.
I agree. Seems a bit small time.

It's only Sunderland and Newcastle who do it isn't it? For most the country London is kinda accessible for a day trip where as for those two places slightly less so and they get a little giddy

Our official website will have about another half a million viewers with every pig checking our sales and looking for one seat in section 114 or somewhere that indicates we've not sold out
Or their mate who lives in Sunderland has got 20 tickets in home end..so must be more. Cue 2k Sunderland in our end.

Would just inform you you have to be logged in to see the ticket layout ,so not every tom dick and Harry can access the site .

It’s all well and good speculating how many we’ve sold, but surely the ticket office need to officially update us on how many are remaining and what the plans are in terms of blocks. I can imagine some people waiting for Monday/tuesday to see what’s available still loads of time left UTB

Sounds a great idea in theory but the problem with that is I wanted 7 tickets close to the half way line, section 525.

But I don’t know if this would have opened so I panicked and bought a block of 4 and a block of 3 in section 523.

If our fans were told in advance which blocks were opening then no one would have bought up the single seats or seats in the less desirable blocks. We would have a situation like at the Lane where it’s basically a sell out but there’s loads of single seats everywhere.

Surely only opening a bit of 525 to us suggests they are leaving open the option to give Sunderland the 800+ tickets in 526. If we sell the bulk of seats in 525 then then give a few more in there.

You don't have any warnings or infractions, I suspect you are talking about the automated message, which depending on the content, lets you know you could be subject to a warning based on a score from a language model :)
Why doesn't cunt bring up a warning, but fucking does?

Vicious circle, you just have to snap up what you can, when you can. I wish all our fans would just buy and get more sections open instead of pissing about until Wembley eventually loses patience and gives them to Sunderland

About 20 tickets have suddenly appeared in section 103 which ha been sold out for days
20 more in section 119 which has been sold out for days
90 more in section 205 which has been sold out for days
And section 525 is locked again

WTF is going on?

Every time I look blocks have reopened with seats available despite being previously locked, can't work it out. This has got to be down to Wembley as we don't decide when blocks become available. 🤷‍♂️

Clearly they were never sold out.
Whether it’s the club or Wembley at fault, it’s a terrible method. Just open the lot from the beginning.

Being cynical this is about TV.

They opened 525 as most blocks sold out. Then saw demand still there and as 525 behind maim camera area have now closed this to get all spares sold out.

I'm probably talking shit. Either way it's a right following Blades.

Another theory could be allocated tkts for club employees not being taken up.

Whatever the reasons, the Ticket Office will be getting a few phone calls tomorrow no doubt.

I think it has to be Wembley. Its all linked to their website.

I appreciate the tkt office have in past come in for criticism over restrictions..but I can't believe this is them.

I agree with selling by sections, but it's getting ridiculous now.
People have bought tickets sat on their own when they could have sat with friends or family.
Some willing to pay for more expensive seats have had to buy cheaper seats
Some have had to buy more expensive seats that they couldn't really afford when cheaper seats keep coming back up for sale.
