Will we sell out?

I’d say the seats reappearing are due to people getting them moved with the ticket office. An earlier post said they were able to move them because the tickets haven’t been printed yet. You can only keep them in your basket for 1 hour so there’s no way some tickets from the northern part have been put in & out of baskets since Wednesday.

Not on a Sunday surely

It is quite obvious that people are putting tickets in the basket and not paying for them in the hope that something better comes along, hedging their bets.

Either buy the ticket, or release it,
It is quite obvious by now that no further sections will be opened until every seat has gone

Can you blame them? The whole locking/unlocking of sections (prohibiting fans buying in areas they may actually want to sit) just to make the ground look full for TV is ridiculous.

They could be using an algorhythm designed to flog as many tickets as possible, including as many singles as they can shift

37 left.

If they go tomorrow, they'll give us an extra block. If not, they'll give the extra 2 blocks and 2k to Sunderland you'd think around Tues/Weds.

They won't open another block we can't sell out unless above go you'd think?

They know Sunderland will sell them instantly.

Still good effort from us as thought we'd be way off selling out.

You don't need an algorithm to do that. You just open it up from Day 1.

Quite obvious you don't have a good track record on this topic
Oh STFU
It's been done to death, and if we'd started with our usual 60,000 loyalty points, then 50,000, then 40,000 we'd have fucking struggled, just like other times

I wonder if in future, it would be better for fans to choose the section they want to buy in and the number of seats together. Then, once ticket numbers in the block are sold, they allocate seats efficiently. That way, you don't get loads of single seats everywhere.

Yeah, I blame them
Put them in your basket and either buy them or delete them

You cannot be fussy at this stage, at this stage I assume anybody doing this is not a regular supporter so they should be grateful they can get a ticket at all

What they are doing is keeping section 525 closed by their stupid, selfish actions

Or they could just open 525 anyway?

* Like they have done, see it's not that fucking hard.

If we’ve sold 35,000 and Sunderland have sold 35,000 and there are close to 14,000 reserved for the FA and its mates, then we are close to a sell out, aren’t we? 🤔🤷‍♂️

It used to be the football club's call. United want them they buy them. Then they assume any loss.

Don't know why it should be segregated there, it is nowhere near half way

Got a mate who’s just managed to get some cover at work and is wanting to buy 8 tickets for himself and family. Is there a presumption that another block should be available imminently as only single seats remain. I understand wanting to fill the gaps but he will have 4 kids u see the age of ten with him.
Block 525 is open now

Like I said on SB to you mate.. makes no sense not opening that block up when it's only Sunday and they're clearly still selling daily in the 100s..

Welcome block 525 🫡

You should probably take some of your own advice here rather than make up scenarios while calling fans dopey for no reason other than something you made up

The whole locking/unlocking of sections (prohibiting fans buying in areas they may actually want to sit) just to make the ground look full for TV is ridiculous.
It's particularly farcical given:

1) we are now at the point where basically all tickets have been sold, so just open up anything you are going to.
2) there already to be random blocks of seats suddenly appearing in sections that would be visible (such as yesterday in 103) - why weren't these released earlier

And on (2) I don't believe that the number and distribution of tickets that suddenly become available is down to individuals Havering then in their baskets. There are to many for that.

So either these are tickets we weren't allowed to sell by Wembley, which makes a farce given they were visible on TV.

Or these are tickets allocated by SUFC for a purpose (players, staff) that they have confirmed aren't needed anymore. In which case fair play on getting them on sale, but poor form for holding really good seats and releasing them late.

I'd just point out Sunderland have tickets left

Thats odd as the official site announced it was sold out 3 days ago? They said if more became on sale theyd announce it on there. Think there is corporate ones left (same for us) but think quite a few Sunderland fans be interested to know

Maybe the official site is wrong and they're fooling their own fans! Be an odd move if they have some they can sell!

Because it's an option for segregation. If we sell those tickets maybe we get the rest of the block and shift the netting to the next block along.
