Proper stadium Villa Park. A shame they couldn't keep the old main stand (wasn't it listed?), but nonetheless a great place to watch football.

villa fan here, would just like to say well done on Saturday. you easily deserved it and were the better team. you actually put us to shame, also want to say that's the best away support we have had at our place for a long time and you were loud as fuck. hope you do well in the cup and hope to have you back in prem soon as it needs clubs like you. to be honest ive always liked sheff utd and also your beloved sheff weds. proper football clubs with great supporters. anyway good luck and look forward to our next meeting. I think the only shame is that there's no video footage of our fans when we scored. I bet it looked absolutely amazing when that second one went it!

Great post mate. Very generous comments you made, and I know everyone here will appreciate your observations. As for Wednesday, their correct names are either Pigs, Grunts, Wendy or the Arrogants. They all take medication before each home game, watching their team sink lower and lower is making them delusional as they consider their once Massive status.

villa loyalist, think Lambert's days are numbered. I remember the team that won the European Cup, so you've great memories to remind you of what should be. Always one of the great clubs in my book, a proper club based on working class loyalties. Walking past the terraces towards the ground you get that sense that this is what football was meant to be.

Take care mate, and I hope you get a manager worthy of the club.....thinking about it, you'd do far worse than go for Mackay, think he'd be a good fit for you guys UTB
