I think we're going down. I don't think we go down with Wilder in charge but I can see us hovering around 18th with targets like these and then the trigger will be pulled. Replacement takes this squad down

If you wanna talk consistency last season we were consistently shit. We had one purple patch for about 8 weeks which kept us up largely driven by an in form Andre Brooks and a couple of excellent free signings in Bamford and Reidewald. Thank god for them

Its amazing how different people see things.

Agree with the 8 week purple patch, where we were banging goals in for fun.

I linked it more with McCallum at left back playing outstanding and I hate to say it, Hamer not being available which let O'Hare thrive.

Preseason and the regular season are very different - remember how good and positive we were last preseason?

Football fans are fickle and get carried away in positives and negatives.

So far we ain't done much in terms of squad shaping really.
We've lost one of our better players in Brooks, and replaced him with Donovan on loan.
We've re-signed a player who mostly performed well in Reidewald and we've signed an experienced defender in Doherty albeit it sounds like Wolves fans haven't been impressed with him for a long while.

Thing is for the past several seasons we haven't made most of our transfers until just about when the season is starting or by the end of the window.

As an example two years ago we signed:
Burrows on the 27th of July, Campbell on the 11th of August, Cooper on the 15th of August, Souttar on the 6th of August, Rak Sakyi on the 16th.

We had signed by this date 2 years ago, K.Moore, Callum O'Hare, Shackleton and McCallum. That's one more player (technically than right now)
