If you wanna talk consistency last season we were consistently shit. We had one purple patch for about 8 weeks which kept us up largely driven by an in form Andre Brooks and a couple of excellent free signings in Bamford and Reidewald. Thank god for them

Right so the 3 players you specify there - we've kept 2 of them, and have replaced Brooks with either Donovan or Matondo? And that means relegation?

I can’t see us going down or even being around the bottom third of the table but also don’t see it being anything other than frustrating season.

That being said, I might have a completely different view at the end of the transfer window.

If this was not the case I think our manager is a strong enough character to tell the powers that be to go stuff it. If he’s sold a dummy by them then he’ll go early. Anyway all said I think positive news needs to start increasing and hopefully put an end to the nerves that exist.

No we were chasing Martyn waghorn for something like 6 million then changed to giving mcgoldrick a trial ( Vs inter Milan!) and people moaned. Then he played.
