Wilder really is a bottle merchant.

Go on then Pep, how would you have won that game?
Probably by attacking their defence with an overload and not having 1 v 2/3 all the time. There was next to no movement going forward and when we eventually lost the ball, 3/4 players were way out of position which led to their wide men having the red carpet rolled out for them to do whatever they wanted to do with it which caused us serious problems because our wingers were nowhere to be seen to protect their overload of Clarke & Burrows which then led either peck/Souza being pulled out of position so they had one man free all the time in the middle of the park with all the time in the world to find a killer pass.

CW taking off our full forward line was just absolutely fucking ridiculous and played right into their hands as we then had no structure going forward. Hope this helps 👍🏻

First half we had the game. Second half Farke changed tactics and slowly got a toe hold. Wider tried to respond to tactical changes and got it all wrong.

Wilder is an accident waiting to happen if we do get into PL, as others have said new owners have shown their nativity giving him a new contract

Bang on. Loves to tinker for tinkering sake. They’re professional athletes ffs. They should be capable of playing 90 minutes. Once again he changed literally half the team when we were playing good stuff and in control. Up to that point I thought Leeds never looked like scoring. We lost all our flow and control, we were all over the place defensively.

Big big mistake lengthening his contract, The new owners inexperience showing through there. Wilder bottled it again like he does every big match. Overthinks it and tries to keep all the players happy by giving them game time.

Talks up the opposition too much as well. Farke didn’t have to do a team talk tonight, Wilder did it for him. Leeds are this and Leeds are that. How about bigging our own players up for a change Wilder? The way he goes on he makes it sound like we should be honoured to be on the same pitch as them.

Ha cost us tonight and he’s going to cost us this season. No confidence in him at all.
As an owl as you know. I think he will still get you promoted and yes he's a cunt at times but he's a Blade through and through

Says the guy who wants the manager who has accrued 72 points in 34 games sacked.
Tbh he has less bottle than the Italians in ww2.
He needs to fuck of and take his bully boy ego with him.
Most of the squad think he's a fucking idiot too.
He's not fit to manage cooking a pot noodle if someone boils the kettle for him. He's tripe. Shit. Outdated and tactically fucking useless.

Unfortunately Wilder drinks his own kool-aid and thinks he’s a better tactician than he actually is. Our downfall is usually caused by some tinkering and baffling subs. He’s also a complete and utter gobshite which doesn’t help as we get no decisions go our way

The irony is if he had bottled it….and gone to 5 at the back for the last 20 minutes….we would have probably got a draw.

They put in loads of crosses and we couldn’t deal with them, really missed the calming Souttar.
Makes you wonder if we should start playing Holding….but it’s late in the season to be experimenting.
For some reason our fullbacks just let crosses into the box far too easily.

For the first it was obvious what James wanted to do. Should have showed him the inside.

Thought we were absolutely outstanding for the first 50-60 minutes, then Leeds quality began to show. Wasn’t sure about the Davies substitution and I much prefer Campbell to Cannon as he makes a real nuisance of himself.

The reality is Wilder’s tactics built the lead, but a combination of Leeds quality and shoehorning Cannon into the line up undid us.

He’s a quality manager at this level and we just need to be better than Burnley and we’re up. I’m not too disheartened.

Leeds did some excellent work building the overloads and our fullbacks struggled. Our wide forwards had no idea who to pick up and Peck didn’t drift over to help because he was occupied by midfield runners.

Leeds are a quality outfit at this level, but they will get obliterated if they are that cavalier in the Prem.

Why didn't we use the wasted Cannon £ to buy a leading CB January ?

I've had my say, and I've no desire to argue with fellow Blades.
Truth is I've supported Wilder and numerous players when things weren't going right, but there's a line. Tonight Wilder crossed that line.
I'm done here.

I really don’t think there was any need to make tactical substitutions at 1-0 up. The only time to change things when playing well is either if we had a substantial lead or we were chasing the game. Leeds were visibly rattled with our intensity…But we let em back in. The subs made us slower and we lost our width. Rak-Saki was playing ok but Leeds were preoccupied by him and that reason alone should have kept him on the field.

You're a WUM knowsnowt , but you are a Blade. Wilder's subs cost us tonight, big time. Probably cost us any chance we had of winning the league. I didn't want him back, but he has done well this season. Yes he's a gobshite, and he struggles with a lack of a plan B, but as it is we're still handily placed to go up in 2nd.

I'm not sure he'd be the right man for the job next season if we do go up, but equally it would seem harsh to get rid if he does get us over the line, and I honestly have no idea who would be right if we did dispense with his services.

Tom Davies the well known winger.

Wilder must really despise Brooks.

Could have gone either way in the end? You knew it was Leeds all the way when he decided to sit deep and defend what we have.
I don't think Wilder is without fault, but he definitely got some things right and as a bigger picture than the result we showed we can play good football against anyone in this league.

The game could easily have gone out way, we were both pushing for a 2nd when found the net. Is what it is - I hoped for the best (good performance and a win) but expected the worst (shit performance + loss)

Do you seriously think he took them off for tactical reasons - maybe he knows they couldn't last 90 mins. Just a thought. Maybe he knows a bit more than us about the fitness of the players at his disposal.

No you won't..you love the club and yes like I do at said fuck off Wednesday I'm done..but when matchday comes around ya there..

Wilder prefers Campbell to Cannon: that’s why he started Campbell.
He also told the team to play with high intensity and press from the front and try to get up the pitch quickly, which we did extremely well, particularly in early periods of the first half.
The result was we took the lead and really had Leeds pinned back for periods.
The other result was that it used up a lot of energy in the forward line; Campbell was never still for a moment. I assume the change was planned and Campbell had been told to hold nothing back and go for it energy-wise for 60 minutes?

Tactical reasons no, fitness levels are horrendous. We haven’t played for 9 days and some of them looked like they’d been coached by Steve fucking Bracknall. They’re professional fucking athletes.

Games like tonight prove Wilder isn't the same manager that he was.

Exactly and we don't have PA in charge of the club where Wilder would have only been given the odd loan player in January, so would be limited in terms of options. He got everyone he wanted and more yet our fitness levels are diabolical.

Absolutely agree mate. That game was in the bag until the tactical genius who is our manager needlessly changed things round with the subs. FFS, why??
We have some brilliant players but they need to be managed by someone who can channel that into a team. I don't think Wilder can, he's out of his depth now and this game was just thrown away, both in terms of the pre-match bigging up of Leeds, and the changes to get "his" players on.
I expect pelters for this (we are 2nd in the league), but I've just had a bellyfull of his arsing about!
Sorry, goodnight!!
