It is odd as I would have scoffed at such an idea before but the team line up and approach was literally set up to lose the game. Noone can say we even tried to win the game or even draw it really (inevitable theyd get and take one chance as has happened all season).
I think if we have a series of performances like that then the mood would rightly change in terms of the 'he needs to be back no matter what.'
People may say it does not matter as we are down but we have to see a semblance of professional pride, planning and foresight.
This ludicrous stubborn tactical monotony is doing him no favours.
There is no manager in football who has lost 20 of 25 games and has kept playing the sane way/shape?
Personally I'd keep him anyway. He deserves next season no matter what and hopefully shake out if this slumber but it is worrying his stubborn approach to tactics and recruitment. If he wants to be a top manager and not another Owen Coyle, Paul Jewell, Adkins, etc who all were raved about and had similiar records but all disappeared without trace, he is going to have to adapt. This 'I know best how dare anyone question me' to press/fans is not helping.
To be honest post match interviews are over scrutinised though. The proof of the pudding is what is played out on the pitch. Last night was woeful in all aspects individually and collectively. He needs to take responsibility as there has been many games like that this season.
