Wilder out

Some on here have been raising the concerns about this stupid approach to games most of the season. Been brushed away and had cult like defence of it. Deciding to revert to form with that today in the second half is one of the most stupid decisions in our history.

I can take us being outplayed or being unlucky, today was neither.

We’ve blown both our legs off while playing massively worse opposition for no reason at all. We are now going to lose Hamer at the minimum. We are stuck with some bad contracts to boot.

Wilder never should have been brought back, nothing he’s done since has remotely changed my mind. We would have had to sack him before Halloween next season in the PL anyway.
Shouldn't worry to much about losing hamer, he's never fit & not good enough for the prem.

What did he do in the second half other than squander a great opportunity. Other than that he was USELESS
I don't disagree that he was less effective in the second half, but thought he played well in the first. I just think if we went on to lose the game anyway, and he wasn't directly at fault, the focus wouldn't be on Moore at all. I get we're all frustrated - I just find the 'Moore is useless' posts a bit pointless.

Another shit bunch of subs from our manager and not the first time this season. Wilder trying to be too clever again, and once again it failed.

I knew we’d spend 90 mins hoofing it to Moore. Wilder is so predictable this season. It worked for 45 mins but we needed to change it when Sunderland came into it second half. We didn’t. And we also constantly passed the ball backwards before we hoofed. Really poor second half from Wilder and some of the players.

That would have been a right pass from Moore if he was playing for Sunderland. Time and again he turned and passed backwards when we were attacking. Late in second half B4 their equaliser Campbell was unmarked in the box. Moore just had to square it. Instead he tried to dribble around their defender and shoot. It was blocked. Atrocious player.
I thought it was easier to pass to Campbell, god!

ok anyone but .Moore ..... laugh

It’s time for a you g Coach with new ideas and an attacking mentality
We got 92 points and won 30 matches.

Those asking for this mystical young coach who betters that are living in dream land.

If we do replace Wilder, I’m expecting 93 points and/or a win in the Play Off final.

Or are we moving the goalposts if you get your wish?

If Brooks would have beat their keeper from 10 yards like he should have, Wilders a hero and a tactical genius.
But he's not is he? We were absolutely cruising at 1-0 and we lost 2-1, where does the blame lie? Are they a better team than us? Do they have better players? Were we unlucky? Is there no blame and its 'one of those things '?

Yep. Wilder is the anti Christ (apparently).

Can I collect my prize now?

Six times Moore gave up good positions in the second half including handing them the winning goal and yet you think it was Wilder’s fault ?
Either the players are good enough or they are not. Clearly the latter.
Who gave him a three year contract?

Sat here in hospital after my bypass operation todays result has done nothing to aid my recovery plan lol. What it has is confirmed in my mind the is manager lacks tactical nous. At half time the footballing world acknowledged there was only 1 team in the game. After 75 minutes sky commentary said no Sunderland fan in the stadium can believe they were going to win this game 2-1. Add in earlier stats that teams who concede first in play off finals rarely go onto win the game. Today we have witnessed a cacophony of CW's seasons tactical failures all rolled into an abject second half perfrormance in the clubs biggest game in years. De Bries immediately saw the problem moved le Fe to a 10 and brought on runners in Isidor, Roberts and Watson to expose our weakness to being turned around. The coaching team failed again at the final hurdle and the the decisions regarding substitutions became more bizarre as the game progressed a reoccurring problem all season.

What it also confirms is that any manager who believes that players of the limited capabilities of JLT and Brewster are adequate to start a play off final does not possess the credentials that any new owners would require of a head Coach taking the Club to the next level,

Big decisions are now required from the new owners. The same golden opportunity can not be tossed away again on the back of a coaching team that fails all the tests required to overhaul the off field management of the Club. A new Sporting Director specifically employed to manage recruitment ins and outs and contracts closely followed by a Head of Medical Services should be part of the reset button being pressed now by new owners shortly after thanking CW and dispensing with his services. Failure to do do so will raise concerns about the new owners intent moving forward.

He did a Southgate at half time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk.

He was straight down the tunnel at the end after shaking hands with their staff. You'd think he'd want to be on the pitch consoling and acknowledging.

Leave that to a loan player.

Spot on pal
