Wilder out

It was totally incompetent even arrogant- 6 weeks they had (and money obviously) to get someone in to replace Souter-
Maybe, even with decent money available, they couldn't find a player they wanted and willing to give a three or four year contract to. Those available in January are available usually because they aren't getting minutes at their current club. Hence Holding on loan.

Watching the Southampton/Wrexham game and struck me, could see Wilder replacing Parkinson if the stars align, Parkinson sure to be out of his depth and Wilder will deliver good content for the soap opera.
They’ve looked ok so far and organised mind Southampton have been really poor

Why would top of the League sack their manager? It's like that's considered a failure. It would be ludicrous to sack a manager for leading his team into the top 3 or 4

Agree, the pen was a gift from Edwards, interesting to watch some of our assumed rivals for this season. Wrexham no surprise but Southampton very poor so far.

Anybody who slags Wilder really should give their head a wobble. Some people seem to forget where we were in May 2016. His 6 games against the pigs (w3 d3) should make him a legend regardless of anything else! Ok, yes it may be time for a change of direction - I get that, and will support Selles all the way. Whether he's the right man for the job though remains to be seen. I am so pleased that Wilder feels an affection and affinity with the supporters. It's only really here in the wibbly wobbly world of t'interweb where he's slagged by people generally hiding behind a pseudonym and vpn. The vast majority of Blades I know in the real world feel like I do.

You can appreciate all he did for the club but still criticise him for what he has become now.

He is very much a Blades legend despite mine and others personal opinion of him.

I do feel sorry for him, it definitely hurt him an unbelievable amount and if it was me I would feel hard done to. Fine margins I guess.

Where we are now and where we have been since 2016 would not have happened with no Wilder
but the second coming was underwhelming the football dire
What chance did we have with no football identity in the PL to even be competitive at the bottom
We’d become a pub team mentally with good footballers who wee restrained due to bizarre tactics substitutions and selections
Did I wish it wasn’t Wilder driving it yes I did but sentiment aside the club needed a culture change and moving into the modern era

Chris spoke well. 92 points indeed says he was very hard done to. That being said no way would it have worked with these new owners, AI cheap buys from the world not his thing at all.

Ruben speaks very well- but so far the backing he's had has been extremely poor, yes by end of window may be different, but right this minute this squad is wafer thin.

Immediately we are 3 short for first team and bench is nothing short of terrible. It's perplexing to buy a club for £105 million and start off a fresh season like this, hopefully very quickly they will see they have to spend some money.

Can't wait to get to ground today and looking forward to a win and praying for no injuries.

Still fear this was a ridiculous decision ,,, but hoping Sellés goes on to be our greatest ever manager
UTB COYRAWW
Thankyou CW&AK

I still can't understand why the owners gave Wilder a new contract in February. Surely by then they would have been aware of his shortcomings. Something has happened behind the scenes that nobody wants to talk about ........I suspect Wilder has signed a non-disclosure agreement in exchange for his contract pay-off.

He's an ex manager of the football team people support. Not quite sure why everyone are so defensive about it either way

"Useless shithouse" was it?

Good interview that, he doesn’t sound bitter at all. Hope to see him back as a manager of another club because we’ve beat the last couple he’s turned up with!

Nobody, I mean nobody would deny Wilder 2016-2019 is a club legend. This version of him however, would have us absolutely crucified in the Premier League. We picked up a tremendous points total without a style of play or really looking convincing in most games. He goes with my best wishes but fuck me, move on.

Right man for the job, would their fans accept it after the fa cup palaver?
