Wilder out

As soon as he made the substitutions he basically gave them the game.

Why the fuck would you bring 2 ft 3 Callum O'Hare on and play him as a striker.

And then why the fuck would you bring on BBD, who is unfit and does nothing defensively, and play him as a left midfielder?

A fucking child would probably switch them round.

But a child would have probably thought it might be a good idea to bring on an extra midfielder given we were just sat back letting them attack us.

All on Wilder. As per the autos. Too cowardly to play attacking football and finish teams off. We literally let them play themselves into some form.

Disastrous management when we had them in our pocket at half time.

And if JRS is fit and he left him out of the squad then fucking hell.

And what the living FUCK was he doing bringing on Seiki for Anel when HOLDING is sat right there?
Couldn’t agree more… SACK THE CUNT

Wilder didn't injure Hamer and BBD
Wilder didn't miss the Brooks sitter
Wilder didn't make that horror pass back into our danger area
Wilder didn't let their player saunter through and pick his spot in the bottom corner

reactionary bollocks. we're all angry but that's not Wilder's fault we threw that away
Against the 3 promoted teams.

P7 W1 D0 L6.

Nothing more to be said.

Wilders fault we went from being all over them to sitting back and producing fuck all after being 1-0 up

I must have watched a different game. I thought we should have been out of sight and got mugged. We should have scored more than one first half. In the second, we had a great opportunity on the counter and Moore fucked it up, Brooks missed a one-on-one with the keeper (who was their best player btw) and then Moore gifts them the ball for the 2nd goal. If Brooks scores people would be banging on about a "tactical masterclass".

Taking off Gus, what the fuck was he thinking?

I'm beginning to think I definitely watched a different game.

We lost that game for a combination of reasons.

The poor tactics and subs in the 2nd half were down to Wilder.

But Moore made some frankly inexplicable decisions in key situations, and the defence seemed to switch off at times towards the end. Those things were not down to Wilder.

He did a fantastic job to rebuild the team and get us in amongst the automatic race. But we have now blown promotion twice this season from positions of dominance. It may be time for a change and another re set.

The same Keiffer Fucking Moore who played a major part in us winning the play-off semi final?
And today he looked like a competition winner, so you get him off, but no we had to leave him on. And he gave the ball away for their winner. Shit.

They weren’t weird subs.

O’Hare coming on and Campbell going off has been the sub for most of the time.

Gus was playing left midfield and that’s where most have been saying BBD has been playing.

That said, I do agree a formation change could have been made and Davies coming in to shore things up rather than sticking with 4-4-2 we needed more solidity.

Hamer being injured was a typical Sheffield United thing, let’s be honest. It gets fucking irritating after a while. We created so little when he went off.

Even with the VAR, it was so subjective. No way was Paterson getting that ball. What a let off for them.
So, you're playing with 2 strikers and bossing a game and so you take off one striker and replace him with a little skilful midfielder and then ask him to play like he was a striker. He didn't drop. He played in the same position as Campbell. Why not put Cannon on?! Or more intelligently, change the formation.

BBD is a left sided forward. He's dire at anything defensive. And when we needed that workrate and cover he was laughably bad.

As for Gus, Gus eats and drinks too much to last 90 minutes at Wembley. Couldn't do it for Coventry, certainly not for us. He need to act like a grown up and a professional athlete or we get our money back. He's a great talented player who is a step above at this level but he's hardly going to play better after a skinful the older he gets. He certainly can't play at the highest level with his attitude.

I seriously used to be a big defender of him, but nah, I’m done. He can leave now. Taking off Gus, what the fuck was he thinking? To think we were top of the league headed into April, now we’re here. Some players made some stupid decisions, but Wilder going negative is inexcusable.
Have a think about why he took off Gus.

That's not a defence of Wilder. It's a call for people to think about the bollocks they spout at times.

Some on here have been raising the concerns about this stupid approach to games most of the season. Been brushed away and had cult like defence of it. Deciding to revert to form with that today in the second half is one of the most stupid decisions in our history.

I can take us being outplayed or being unlucky, today was neither.

We’ve blown both our legs off while playing massively worse opposition for no reason at all. We are now going to lose Hamer at the minimum. We are stuck with some bad contracts to boot.

Wilder never should have been brought back, nothing he’s done since has remotely changed my mind. We would have had to sack him before Halloween next season in the PL anyway.

Moore has been a different player the last 3 games. Fair to be angry/frustrated/gutted after that, cause I am too - and yes his mistake cost us - but I thought he otherwise had a good game and personally couldn't imagine a scenario where he goes off.
Moore has put in the worst performance ever seen at Wembley, to be on the pitch after 60 mins is fucking disgusting

They weren't weird? BBD hasn't kicked a ball for a month and he brings him on in the biggest games of the season ffs?

One chalked off for a debatable offside and enough chances to have put us 4 or 5 up before their equaliser.

That’s the gamble of the play offs. Always feels like the odds are stacked against us, but we did enough to win that. You can’t blame Wilder for Patterson making 2 worldies & having several opportunities to be in on goal but taking none of them.

Hamer hamstring by the look of it. The Main issue is scoring just one of 3-4 big chances. 3rd team almost never win. We never win. Underdog usually win.
