This poll is 6 months old. Id be curious how much it's changed. It's not an invitation to start a new one, just a bit of a thought.

Why are you so keen that they do rush it?

What's wrong with having a caretaker manager for one or two games while we make sure that we get the appointment right 100%, or are you obsessed with winning?

What happens if we do rush it and appoint Edwards or Parker and they lose their first two games? How is that any worse than us losing those games with a caretaker in charge?
Wilder needs to go because his tactics are dragging us down. You have 3 weeks of a break for a new manager to implement his tactics, and to let them hit thr ground running.

Alternative is you have 3 weeks for an interim to bed in, then if that doesn't work you have to bring in another manager and go through this all again. Just go through the motions over the weekend of sounding out Cooper or someone similar and get them in through the break

I don't think you're understanding what I am saying or you're on the wind up.

Whilst we search for a new manager we allow Jones/Collins to take over as caretaker manager over the international break. Let's say we don't appoint the new manager until after the Lincoln game, then they stay in charge for the Lincoln game, and then the new manager takes over for the rest of the season. It's not difficult to understand.

So you get Jones in as a temp. He has the 3 weeks of the break to coach the players to how he wants to play. If that works, great. If it doesn't? We're continue hiring.

So thats the 3 weeks of the break gone, which the new manager could have hsed for his tactics. New manager comes in after Lincoln, is then having to get the squad ready quickly, without the break. Which is another few weeks

I can't figure out if you're on the wind up or just thick, so I can't be bothered to talk about this with you anymore. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Explain to me how I'm wrong?

You're giving Jones for example 3 weeks with the squad that could be given to the new manager.

You then have to wait for the new manager to bed his tactics in, which will take a few games and means more points potentially lost.

All because you don't want to rush?

I'd rather change now and prepare for next season, even if it means relegation.

There's no guarantee we'll stay up under CW based on these performances anyway.

I understand the lack of trust in these owners recruiting the right person but realistically they'll have to do it sooner rather later anyway.

There are people out there, who whilst i don't see them getting a lot more from this squad at present, could certainly set us up better imho but more importantly look to moving us forward in terms of recruitment and tactics for next season.

The players and money available since May, even losing the attacking three, shouldn't have resulted in this unbalanced turgid outdated shit.

Would any decent manager want the job now?

A lot depends on that

It would be more attractive if they could come in without immediate pressure, with a summer window ahead of them

It would also be more attractive if we could find more investment or new ownership

We're basically in a holding pattern now until this later date IMO

Wilder made it fun to go to the lane, first time properly since Warnock. Never forget that. Never forget that a lot of them players we’ve had had their big payday off the back of his success.

It’s time to go though mate, we’re not going to improve, you’re not the man. Go and retire to the Bulls Head in Fulwood. Go on holiday to Mustique at Christmas. We need something else. Getting ridiculous now.

Bulls Head is in Ranmoor. Imagine The Pointing Dog with bigger wankers!

Plenty of managers would want it. Those mentioning the likes of Carrick, Rosenior and Frank must be on drugs, but if the post was advertised there would be dozens of applications, many of them from serious applicants.

Wilder still throws shots at Selles, but now saying 6 or 7 games is too early to judge a season? See what position we are in at Christmas? He's just been talking absolute bollocks since pre season
Just listened to his post game presser.
He's happy with the performance, just outdone by 2 worldies. Says were on the right track where to Div1?

I can't remember us having a manager who's gone from doing post match interviews where I agreed with almost every word, to years later thinking he's utterly deluded.
