Who's the slowest player we've ever had?

I don't think Paul McGrath ever ran, but yet the ball always seems to go towards him.

McGrath admitted his knees were fucked very rare he trained but, he had what a lot of players we've had over the years didn't have; a football brain.

Not sure if it was the home against Swindon in 93/94 season but he was out on the right wing and the ball was played up to him, he controlled it, flicked it over the defenders head marking him and spun after it in a moment of quality. Unfortunately he was that slow the defender had time to turn around and still managed to get to the ball before Alan did.

I remember he was clean through with just Schmeichel to beat and had a 10 yard head start on Pallister and Bruce who were hardly fast (the linesman was presumably asleep) and they virtually caught him up so he couldn't get a shot away. Remarkable. Game after beating the piggies 3-1 away.

Surely the slowest strike force that we had is when we had Kitson, Cresswell, Porter and Ironside to choose from going into the 2013 play offs.
